Takes two, preferably
Needs mechanically inclined person to help with assembly and more so when mounting the bike but not impossible to do alone. Bike gears work while in motion and resistance is also adjustable at the base. Great value and sturdy. I keep step ladder next to it to get on and off for safety.

Works great
Exactly what I needed to train for my race when it was too cold to ride outside. It can be a little noisy but I wore my headphones and it was fine.

Not loud with road bikes.
Comes assembled. Yes it makes noise, but only when I put my MTB on it. It's a quiet humming sound with the road bike that didn't bother me at all. But my guess is the comments about the noise are for those people who are putting really thick tires on it and a little too much resistance. I'm super happy with this purchase that I didn't break the bank, and it can be stored away easily. As you can see though, not my 20" fit though. But maybe I was hoping too much. I do have a vibration pad under it, and even my yoga mat and more. I'm thinking maybe quiet pipe insulation/foam could work too, but that's only if I'm up in the middle of the night would I need to be cautious. It's not a noise maker for me at all, and I live in a very quiet building in a residential neighborhood in the loudest city of them all. So I highly recommend!!!! Stay safe everyone. Hope this helps.

Works great during the bicycling off season.
This stand is nice for staying in shape during the winter when you can't ride your bicycle outside. It is very sturdy for holding up the bike when using it and it was easy to set up. Some of the people complained about the noise it makes when pedaling mine is quiet when I use it but a lot of that has to do with what type of tire is on the bike. I have a bicycle with 700c wheels and it fits perfectly on the bike stand.

Height, noise level and tension control
I’m 5’1” and installed our 26” wheeled bike and I need a stool to get onto the bike seat. The brace has to lift the rear of the bike off the floor so the wheel can spin. East to install. I bought this model knowing I have to adjust the tension by hand. Once I set my tension I don’t change it. If you like to change the tension of the back wheel while on your “ride” you’d need a different model. The back tire does make a high pitched whine as the company warned. I wear my earbuds to watch videos so it doesn’t bother me. Perfect product for me, a bike ride in the living room looking out at the snow.

Poor directions, manual
Works fine for the price. Not as smooth as a $400 us made model, but great for the money. The manual with directions is terrible. Ridiculously small font. Directions reference parts of the trainer, but I had to guess what it referenced. The manual uses very poor photos to show parts of the trainer. Photos are tiny, grainy, and too dark. Would drawings and charts help? I gave up. My friend who is already with bike trainers knew how to set it up with no directions

Easier than I thought
When I got my initial package the wrong item was sent, but it was quickly taken care of by customer service and I received a replacement in two days. After reading reviews I was afraid that it would be very difficult to set up and I had no idea how to change out the quick release rod. Thankfully the existing prongs worked for me so the entire thing was set up in about 10 minutes. Some commented that the noise would be muffled if it was on a rug or carpet. I just have a rug underneath it so I don’t damaged my floors. It makes no more noise than a stationary bike or bike rollers. I pop in my AirPods and listen to an audiobook as I ride. I don’t have any problem hearing. The bike is very stable which I appreciate. I had rollers and as I’m getting older the fear of falling is great. I feel very stable on the trainer. So far I’ve used it for a week and I really like it.

adjusting resistance
This bike trainer does, indeed, allow the user to adjust the resistance, but the instruction manual is weak and the Yaheetech customer service team is useless. (I contacted them to ask for help, and they misinterpreted my question as wanting to return the trainer, so they referred me back to Amazon.) Make sure the appropriate bolt is actually aimed at the roller; at first, mine was aimed too low, and when I screwed it down all the way, thinking that I was increasing the resistance, there was no change. After studying the various hardware, I figured out that the equipment had arrived with the adjusting bolt in a misleading position, but it was easy to fix. However, note that you can't adjust the trainer's resistance while you're riding; you can do so only while off the bike. Of course, you can make adjustments while riding by shifting gears using the bicycle's derailleurs.
