Howard Products Leather Salve - Car Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, Rejuvenates, Protects

I have used this for the first time. Easy to apply. I did notice the leather absorbing it rather quickly. Boots were really needing it. Says to reapply just not right away. I can notice a bit of improvement. I am happy with product so far.

This is amazing stuff. A dog scratched up my dark brown leather sofa cushion- I thought it was ruined. This product restored the leather to near-perfect condition. I couldn't believe the awesome results. Leaves the leather looking and feeling great- no residue.

My poor work boots get a lot of abuse in the animal sanctuary where I work. This salve appears to be doing a great job of feeding and protecting the leather and is helping to maintain the water proofing very well. The consistency is fairly liquid, which means its easy to apply (if slightly messy). The leather surface absorbs the salve and so may darken lighter tones (not an issue for me). It needs some time to settle into the surface before being ready to buff. Don't expect a shine though - my boots retain a fairly matte finish after buffing with a brush.

I have bought many of the best selling leather products here and this one out performs all of them by far. Think of your leather like a plant that is wilted from the sun, heat, and lack of moisture. The other products were just a sip of water. This salve acts like a plant reviving rainfall. The key is to follow directions. Apply and walk away. Allow it the full hour to soak in all the moisture. The difference between the before and after is truly impressive. I have some Thomas Moser chairs from the early 90s. Every year I treat the wood with Howard's Feed and Wax (another 5 star product). Once I discovered that Howard made this leather slave, I had to give it a try. The chairs look like they are 2 or 3 years old, not 30! Howard has made two great products that are must haves for your best furniture. Feed N Wax and Leather Salve provides the moisture, conditioners, and protective waxes that will kept your fine furniture looking and feeling their best. I will donating my other leather products to my neighbors. This is the only one I will be using from now on.

This product is amazing, for full disclosure, I use both the salve and the leather conditioner (in different situations). Both products rejuvenate leather incredibly well, they both smell great, both have extremely high quality ingredients and both arrived without incident or defect. I consider both quite easy to use, but would advise that the conditioner be used one drop at a time... the key is to follow their instructions... wipe off dust/ dirt (who wants conditioner mud?) And apply in small circular motions that are slow enough to not produce friction... moisturization is the goal - not abrasion. The conditioner will result in a really slight darkening of the leather (which is temporary in my experience), ... the salve is going to have a more intensified effect, but both are really pleasing to me. I use the Salve when I'm not concerned about any darkening or when the condition of the leather is more dire or when the leather will be subject to alot of abuse (the salve seems to have a lot more carnauba wax so seems to protect better... I opt for the salve if the leather has what feels like a slight napp (spelling?) Although neither is recommended for full blown suede or nubuck i think (due to the carnauba wax i think)... the Salve in particular goes a REALLY long way... I won't go back to another leather care product... Should also be noted that it doesn't result in a sticky finish (like that honey thing for instance)... its just the best out there i think.

I use this stuff on all of my leather products. This is my 3rd time purchasing this brand. I use it on my couch, my recliner, my husband's cowboy boots, my car leather, etc. Hasn't done me wrong yet and I swear by it. I dont think ill ever anything else. Also, it works SO WELL on removing scuffs and scratches. My cats jump off my leather furniture constantly leaving little lines behind, one swipe of this and it's good to go. And it really smells so good. Just make sure it dries before covering it or putting anything on the leather

i've been an avid user of Howards products such as the feed and wax, and restore a finish for our furniture business. I did enjoy the leather salve, 1 jar got me through 3/7 modular sofa units. Quite pricey for the amount but I always enjoy howards quality. the results were soft and shiny leather. some stains and scatches did not hide but some did the sofa shows how much colour did change once conditioning. (first 2 pieces are post treating)

Family use it on their leather So comes highly recommended
