I have to write a review because this was such a good idea to get this for my two year old. She isn't a fan of floaties and she is not a swimmer yet. When I first put this on her, it was easy for her to flip over on her back and vice versa. Too easy. She was floppy and uncoordinated. She even sank a little too low which innitially made me nervous. Well, all she needed to do was learn and get the right muscles working because now, in fact within just a day of use, she's even swimming, kicking AND using her arms. She loves this swimsuit. It's not too intrusive for her and she can easily get around. The best thing is that it's taught her musles what to do. I would highly encourage anyone to try this one out.

I bought this bathing suit for my granddaughter. She is bold and brave, so the floatation aids inside the suit are perfect. She likes to swim with her sister in to the deeper water and I don’t worry about her. She loves this suit.

I have two littles taking swim lessons. These suits allow my 4 year old the opportunity to swim and practice her skills without being attached to me. I have also been able to take out some floats, so she has to work a little harder to stay afloat. The 2 year old still needs a hand but she is also interested in experimenting with her swimming independence. For those who worry about what people have said about the floats don’t stay in after you take them out, there is a small sliver of material that comes out to tuck the float in. I have even washed these suits with the floats in them and they haven’t come out.

I bought size 4-5 for a 30 pound 3-year-old who usually wears size 3T clothing, and it fit. It did keep him afloat. It’s less bulky and positions him more naturally for swimming in the water than the puddle jumper style floats he usually wears. On the cons side, obviously the child can remove this themselves if they were inclined. Also, the fabric containing the foam floats is open at the bottom, so the foam floats could be removed by children. We tested it briefly in the pool and none of the floats floated out by themselves. We are using this on vacation as a less bulky alternative for continuous wear in a rental home that has a pool integrated into the living room as insurance in case our child falls in and no one notices, but it won’t replace our more durable, more difficult to remove puddle jumper type float that we use for swimming at home. Glad I got a good price, because I don’t see this holding up long term.

I would suggest using extreme caution with this suit, as it does not float a 20 pound baby. We put it on my granddaughter and she sunk completely. Thank God I was still holding on to her. Would not recommend at all. When we put the suit in the pool by itself, it did float, but did not keep our 20 pound baby above water.

I originally ordered these bathing suits for an indoor water park that required all children under 4 ft had to wear a life vest or some sort of floatation device. My 4 year old wears size 5 or XS in clothes and is petite and my 3 year old wears 4/4T. So I ordered 2 suits that were 4-5T. The light pink suit is the 4/5T and floats whoever wears it great! We were so happy with this suit and it had the long floats in it. However, my 4 year old was too tall for that size so I returned it ordered the 5-6 years size. That suit came in dark pink (not as advertised and came with the short floats that seemed like they were cut in half. This suit does not float her at all. She immediately sinks down. I’m disappointed with the larger suit. The smaller one floated her perfectly so I assumed the proper size suit would float her also. So depending on what size floats you get, Depends on whether or not the suit works. I do like that the floats stay in pretty good because the fabric is folded around to keep them from coming out.

My 1.5 year old grandson just loves it and swims wearing it every day in our large pool. It's a perfect product in every way. He is rapidly learning to swim using it, and the foam panels are removed one at a time as he progresses. It also keeps him totally safe. The others we tried were far from ideal.

An absolute must have for kids to learn to swim! I find the arm bands restrict their arm movement where this bathing suit helps with buoyancy and staying afloat while letting kids learn to move the boat more freely to swim!

J’ai acheté pour ma petite fille de 2 ans. Il est un peu trop grand (le haut est trop grand). La qualité est ok. Parfait pour apprendre à nager. On peut enlever les foams.
