Doesthis devise also improve rolled shoulders?

In my case it did, to keep the right posture we will eventually force our shoulders back.

Can I use this without the app?

Yes the device can be used without the app. Please see link below for instructions. https://help.uprightpose.com/en/articles/1864288-using-your-upright-go-without-the-app

I’m buying this for my husband, can I use it as well

I don’t think so cause you’ll need to reset the info about the owner plus it would affect the tracking and training mode

Do you need to be connected to an app for this to work? I have my phone on airplane mode a lot so couldn't use this if so. Many thanks

I think you need to connect in order for the statistics to be downloaded . I have mine linked to my ipad rather than my phone.
