Nice large bags, am using for storing 3D printer filament rolls which are moisture sensitive.

Not impressed with the ziploc seal it easily tears away from the bag itself

I purchased the pack of 12”x17”x6” Mylar bags that are 7.5mils thick. The bags are indeed very sturdy and I have confidence that they will preserve food for many years. I mistakenly thought that oxygen absorbers were included with these bags but they are not. The bags have a resealable strip on top for easy access during short term storage or pantry use. For long term food storage I will seal these bags with a hair straightener wand and use an oxygen absorber. I am using these heavy duty bags to store extra dog and cat food as well as some human food for emergency use during hurricane season here on the U.S. East coast just as the CDC and Red Cross recommends.
