This hex key tree seems decently made for what it cost here on Amazon. It has 11 different SAE size keys and contains the ones that I will use the most on a daily basis. The keys are stiff to move when new, but loosen up after a bit of use. The keys can be used in the 90-degree position or 180 straight out, or can even be fully flipped over so the body acts like a handle to give extra turning power. The body is made of plastic but is actually very sturdy and doesn't flex much at all when force is applied during use. This is not an insulated tool though since the through-bolts that hold the keys in are also in contact with them and exposed on the ends of the handle. The set can feel a little bulky until you get used to it but, I do find it more convenient than having to carry both a smaller and larger set of hex key trees like I always did before.

This is a surprisingly large hex set. That said, it's an extremely sturdy hex set. I don't think I could torque out the frame or the individual drivers before I start stripping bolts. The black finish didn't last the first bolts turned, but the metal underneath is completely unmarred. This thing has every size of hex head I've ever seen, and a couple that I haven't, ranging from diminutive to gargantuan. There's no locking feature, but it has solid enough tension that it doesn't really need it.

I've had the same one for years now and its held up tremendously well. I thought the plastic body would've atleast cracked by now, and even after dropping it off the tops of 8', 10' and 12' ladders numerous times, it still hasnt. Surprisingly durable for a plastic klein tool.
