I ordered the kids’ Tangle Teezer in the mint colour as a replacement for my original one that I lost. At first, I was worried the bristles might be softer than the standard version, but they aren’t — they’re just as effective at detangling. The size is smaller than the regular models, which I’ve actually come to love. It’s easy to pop into a handbag or suitcase, making it perfect for travelling. Despite being marketed for children, it works brilliantly on adult hair too. I have straight but thick hair, and this brush glides through tangles smoothly without painful pulling. A few things to note: This version doesn’t come with a cover, unlike some other models. It doesn’t bother me, but it might be worth considering if you want to keep the bristles protected in a bag. Because it’s smaller, some people might find it harder to grip compared to the larger designs. Personally, I find the compact size just right. I can’t comment on how well it works for curly hair, but for straight, thick hair it does a great job. The mint colour is also bright and cheerful — and hard to lose, which is a plus. Overall, this brush is a practical, travel-friendly option that’s much more versatile than the “kids’” label suggests.

bought this for my son who is now 1 years old and few months but I got this when he was like 10-11months old . He has curly hair ( hes mixed ethnicity). When his hair is wet it turns curly, when its dry its tight curls, but when you brush his hair out with a brush it becomes an afro! He has such lovely hair, and a normal comb was not working for his sensitive little head. I needed a comb or bush that would do the job but not hurt him at the same time. I do love this brush, its worked fab for us, he doesn't fuss in pain and he has very minimal hair loss from brushing . It appears pricey but honestly its worth the quality. Its just tricky for him to try hold himself as I'm teaching him the motion of brushing cause theres no handle. Would be nice if there was a kids brush small like this just with a handle so he can hold it better from early to get use to it himself. But anyway I would recommend this brush, i have afro hair myself and I have my own tangle teezer, I love it - helps prevent loads of breakage. This brush is great and i would recommend it!

I bought this for my grandson, he's just turned 14 months old and he loves his mums tangle teezer. Every morning he has his teeth brushed next to mum and then he was waiting whilst she did her hair so he could have his done. I've never seen anyone get quite so blissed out from having their hair brushed and he loves having her brush so he can do his hair wherever he wants. Now he doesn't need to wait, he has his own brush which he finds very easy to hold in one hand (he's bigger than the average 14 month old, he's as large as many 18-24 month olds) and because of the design of the brush he can't scratch himself at all. As with all tangle teezers there's no little nobbly bits at the end of the bristles which always come off eventually and leave the end scratchy. With these brushes the bristles are soft enough to not hurt you but firm enough to brush your hair well. These little ones are perfect for children from as young as a year and help them learn to look after themselves with a nice, colourful, child friendly style that has an ergonomic shape to make it easier for young children to hold on to. The only place I've seen this style is online and it is much cheaper than the adult targeted mini brushes that I've seen in the shops. Overall I really can't fault it.

Lovely for my little boys curls but feel harsher than my one. The brushes are quite sharp. Great for tangled hair though and he loved the dinosaurs

Love this brush! I’m mixed race and my son inherited my curls. He was a little boldy until 6 months and started growing big luscious curls. These quickly got fluff stuck in them. I wanted a brush that I could use on his wet hair and that doesnt rip out his hair resulting in split ends and damaged curls. This is the best brush by far. Firstly it is super adorable with the dinosaur print which is suitable for both girls and boys. Secondly, it doesn’t pull at his knots but gently opens them up (given you wet the curls and applied product) and removes the fluff. My little one really enjoys having his hair brushed as it gently massages the scalp. Super easy to rinse off to remove the product (and countless fluff). Definitely recommend for the price! Also perfect for when they start brushing their hair on their own. It is a handy size for little hands.

Son has very tight thick ringlet curly hair, he hates his hair being brushed because its gets very knotted. This has certainly helped, obviously with there being dinosaurs on is a great touch but the brush is very good at going through the hair and clearing knots with ease and little upset or pain. Good value and feels like it will last for a long time.

My 3 year old son has really long hair and it works wonders for his hair. He loves it because ita dinosaurs, easy to clean, painless and slices through his knots like butter and left with no tangles. He even uses it himself sometimes so easy to use and so durable

I have a house of all boys. They steal my brush to scratch and brush thier heads. Not any more! I wish they had more colors for boys but atleast they have some. These are amazing! The quality is great! My toddler loves to just play with it. I would use them if my hair was short. The size of the brush is great. It fits in your hand good. It's easy to use and easy to clean. Hair really won't stick in it. Like traditional brushes. Which is awsome and more sanitary. I just toss ours in the dish washer top rack delicate wash and it comes out clean. The bristles are not to stiff and not to soft. So they work out tangles nice for soft headed toddlers. I love it.

I have owned several large-size and mini-Tangle Teezers over the years. I literally cannot use any other brush now that I have used this. It works so well on wet or dry hair. After the shower, there is almost no pain when detangling hair or brushing tangled, wet hair. It quickly gets knots out and is as pain-free as it gets for hair brushing. I even have a spare Tangle Teezer in the shower to brush out shampoo and conditioner. It feels fantastic and makes the hair-washing process so much more enjoyable. One con may be that some people may not like the lack of a handle, as sometimes you can drop the brush if you don't have a good grip. This is a minor issue for me, and I like how compact and easy to control it is. This is my all-time favorite brush, and I cannot imagine using anything else for the rest of my life!
