Long press the next button does not alter the setting, it stays on bt, it did work on usb before I paired it with my phone, now it stays on Bluetooth.

Is this compatible with alexa auto?

Sorry I really don't know, as I don't have Alexa Auto, but it connects to anything that can use Bluetooth, I've connected my galaxy watch and streamed music.

When playing tracks from USB, does this memorize the track position when power is cycled off and on ?

It 100% does, yes. Even if removed from the 12v socket.

Did anyone have a squeaking sound through the speaker when adding the device to the car?

No I never had this problem, but its described on the info page of the item on here. You have to make sure the volume is at a certain rate. Follow all the instructions word for word on here and it will work perfectly. I've not had a single problem since buying it, best thing I ever bought
