Very useful
I mixed hot liquids. This is very reliable, has a good grip and a magnet. itโs long enough for a large beaker.

Does the job
I use this for pulling the stir bar out of mixed drinks. It does what it's supposed to do.

Magnet not strong
Magnet not as powerful as expected. Otherwise seems okay. Have not used it with any corrosives to see if the coating does resist it.

Wish it didn't have the lip, but it works as intended
Junk can get caught on the lip of the magnet, where it connects to the rod. However, it's a very simple device and it works. I just wish the magnet had a smooth angle leading onto the rod, so it wouldn't catch stuff on the lip.
