It's ok
It tase ok but don't think I would buy again. Was trying to find a replacement for deer jerky since my great grandfather can no longer go hunting for deer anymore.

Great similar to jack links
Ok I bought this because I had a hankering for venison jerky. Saw them said why not and got the original flavor. It has a soft texture that will just disappear in your mouth and with a whole lot of marinaded flavor it very similar to a typical jerky you would pickup at any store maybe a bit on the sweeter side. Which if you love this perfect for you honestly its a good flavor. But... not for me I am more a texture eater I like a jerky you can gnaw on a bit, dare I say a bit more dehydrated. Also the marinade nearly overpowered any venison flavor which defeated the purpose because I wanted venison with a bit of jerky flavor. Its good if you like jack links but if you want something different then that try a different brand.

Not worth the price.
Taste was decent but there was barley any jerky in the bags - 2 medium slices per ba. $27 bucks for a small amount of jerky? I guess I should have read more into the ad about the amount you get. Not worth the price.

Save you money
This review is more so on the cost of the item. For the price and what you get its not worth it. To only get 2 small pieces of jerky for over $10 bucks is a rip off. And the taste was just so so. Couldn't even tell it was deer meat. Tasted more like beef with maybe some deer mixed in to just call it deer jerky. Wont be buying this product again. So sad was looking forward to some real deer jerky.

I liked this one
I liked this one. It was chewiest of the products which I have so far purchased from this company, but as someone who is accustomed to eating venison burgers and other things derived from deer whenever one of my more rustic relatives gets lucky, I was fully armed with that knowledge at the time of purchase. It did not disappoint me, and the flavor was excellent. I bought the original, and might consider buying some other flavor in the future, given that this one pleased me (and my dog, who wouldn't stop crying until I gave her a piece).
