These are fittings of exceptionally high-quality, precise manufacturing, and simply look professional. We’ve all seen substandard fittings and parts at local big box retailers, and from other online suppliers-Blikas far exceeds those sellers. Roy from Blikas answered numerous questions and suggested several suppliers for the swagging tool. My only suggestion would be for Blikas to partner with a hydraulic hand swag tool provider-one stop shopping for the entire job would be cool.

The terminal fitting is nice enough. Good quality and well made. Very accurate opening for a 3/16” diameter cable. It comes with a washer, nut and dome nut. However, the one thing I noted is that while this works for a 2x2 post, or even a little bigger, in these cases you need to open up the hole on the ‘inside’ of the posts because the threaded portion of the fitting is simply no longer enough, so a portion of the swaged end has to go inside the post. As such, the ‘nut’ end is also inside the post. To tighten the nut, you’ll need to hold the fitting with a pair of pliers. It still worked, but I wish the threaded stem should really big long, as in at least 3”, 1.83” is simply too short. Basically, you cannot use the wrench that comes with it. There are some fittings on Amazon with 6” threaded ends, but this much too long and they are very expensive. Regardless of this little issue, they do look good once installed. I’m quite happy with the result.

This is a great product. a tip... You will likely need to cut the threaded end so the cap nut fits nicely. The trick is.... place the first nut and tighten cable put a second nut and tighten to the first one. Use a grinder to cut the excess screw.... then when you remove the second nut will take care of thread making sure there is no left over metal. Then place the cap nut and tighten.

These worked great, I used an AMP terminal crimper to crimp them to the cable . I used them for a railing around my deck.
