Sheaffer Slim Rollerball Refill - Blue Medium - Blister Card

Lovely replacement Cartridge for my Shaffer 'pull-top'. Perfect thickness and rolls super-smoothly!

Ok so this refill (Sheaffer Slim Roller II Refill) is made in Germany and very, very, very high quality. I have a problem though. I wanted to fit it in a Shaeffer VFM Matte Black roller ball pen. It does not fit. I repeat it does not fit. The tip of the refill superbly fits but the refill is too tall and you can't screw the top half of the pen. This refill is so tall the top half of the pen does not even get to the thread of the bottom half. I was very mad about this. But before I threw this expensive refill away I decided to try it on my other pens to see if it worked in them. It FITS the LAMY Tipo Capless Aluminum Rollerball Pen perfectly. So I used it there.

Exactly as expected from a quality company 👌

After searching for a refill for my vintage Targa I finally found that this is probably the closest fit although not perfect. It is just slightly too long but so minute (hair strand thickness) that it’s probably only noticeable to me. Pictures show closeup of pen closed with refill inserted and without the refill. The issue is the tip is slightly longer not the barrel so not possible to modify in any way. Pen clicks closed and writes well so this is a win for me. I am not sure why the Sheaffer website does not have any mention of replacements for the Targa pens and customer service was no help either, eventually just giving me contact for US distributor.

Pen refil

Product showed up as intended and works well

Such a smooth, easy and effortless writing experience. No problems at all on any surface.

The refill is fine, but the product states "2 Per Pack." If that were true, the price paid would be reasonable. Getting only a single refill for the price charged is no bargain. Look elsewhere!

Sheaffer is what it is known for and this product is no different from its brand value. The flawless flow or the deep dark impression, I can’t stop writing moment I hold this pen. The refill is genuine. So you can go for it without hesitation.

I am very glad that I could find a refill for my favourite sheaffer pen. It fits perfectly and now I can continue to write with my pen. The ink is good. The delivery was fast too. Everything is great!
