No, the AXC25 is only available in lunar grey.

Is it sacd compatible and will sacd discs play as such?

Hi there, I’m listening to Talk Talk Spirit of Eden SACD on this player as I’m writing... and it plays fine. However, I believe it’s the CD tracks that are playing... and not the SACD layer. This particular disc is a hybrid disc, so also contains regular CD audio. This is what I’m hearing. I don’t believe an SACD-only disc would output anything on this player. There’s no mention of SACD audio in the instructions, nor on-line.

Does this require an amp?

Yes it does need to be plugged through an amp to work. It just has left and right line out on the rear panel.

Does this have a headphone socket

No headphone socket. But delighted with the sound quality. I use the headphone socket of my Cambridge Audio amp.
