This is quality engine compression test kit. The dial is large, clear and most importantly accurate. The hoses are made from quality rubber and resist oil and grime. Adapters for most spark plug sizes are included. This kit is a great alternative to the very expensive truck tools brands.

I bought a cheaper tester a while back and it failed so I got this one because I watched a youtube mechanic use it on many different motorcycles and it always gave an accurate reading. Worked very well for me and the price was pretty good. Shipping was fairly fast.

I just received this tester and oh my it feels like true quality. Doesn't feel cheap and I love that it has Schrader valves in it. I will update my review once I've used it. Definitely superior to my other compression testers.

This compression tester gives accurate results on small engines. The key is that there are Schrader valves in each of the relevant adapters. Without this feature, small displacement engines will read very low, inaccurate compression. There are plenty of adapters to cover most common plug threads. There are also spare O’rings and valves provided. It all stores neatly and compactly in the plastic case. I wish I had purchased this first instead of the low cost unit I bought that was worthless for motorcycles that I work on. This is a nice kit that should serve needs across a wide variety of engines.

Very nice piece of equipment. A must for small engine (as well as automotive) diagnostic work. This unit has Schrader valves on all the hoses, where they screw into the spark plug hole. This gives a much more accurate reading. Also comes with spare parts such as o-rings and Schrader inserts.

This is one of few that are made right. Has the schrader valve. This valve measures the pressure in the combustion chamber alone. Others read very low because they dont have this valve.

Found the kit to be very well made, from the blow moulded case down to the spark plug adapters, and it was a nice thing to find consumable spares such as o rings in the kit. The rubber hoses are good quality and suitable for what they need to do. flexible but not too flexible and will take a adapter out of a deep cylinder head without collapsing. The airline fittings felt nice and had a positive engagement with no leaks. The guage had a nice smooth action, and most importantly was consistent. I dont care if its inaccurate by a small percentage, but i want it to be consistent, and it was. From memory i think it comes with spare schrader valves for the guage to which is a bonus. All round a well made and at the price, a very good value tool. I have used several different brands prior, both name brands from leading auto shops like from bursons to cheap eBay chinese offerings, and i wont ever bother to use anything else in future if i need to replace it. Im now snooping around for vacuum tester as i know i will get quality. Thanks

Habe auch schon 3 Kompressionstester umd das ist der erste der mich nicht belügt.

Leider hat der Kompressionstester eine Abweichung von 3 bar und ist somit eigentlich nur für die Mülltonne gedacht!!! Ich habe eine Vergleichsmessung mit einem kalibrierten Profigerät durchgeführt und dabei kam folgendes Ergebnis raus: 6 bar beim kalibrierten Profigerät und 9 bar beim Mityvac. Das ergibt eine Abweichung von 3 bar. Eine Abweichung von 0,5 bar im Gegensatz zu einem Profigerät würde ich mir noch eingehen lassen. Aber bei 3 Bar Abweichung, kann man mit dem Gerät leider nichts anfangen. Da kann man genau so gut einfach irgendetwas schätzen.
