igloohome Smart Padlock, 365459

Excellent smart lock, very sturdy and strong build. The level of security is next to non. Best feature is you can provide a one time pin remotely to gain access. I run a truck park where I have overnight stays of vehicles coming in and out now I can just send a one time pin or a timed pin for there duration that they require. I never need to go back to the lock to change the access codes. I've used other smart locks but so far this is the best one I have come across. The build quality is very important in a lock and I think Igloohome have covered alot of potential violation risks, it's not straight forward to take apart unlike other smart Locks in the market.

I absolutely love this. Money well spent. It comes with a silicone cover too that can help protect it if used outdoors. I've covered mine with the protector. It's not connected to WiFi so I didn't have to worry about WiFi connection or security issue. You can connect it to bluetooth and you can unlock it manually or using the app. I like it a lot

Initially , the look,/feel and operation of this product was encouraging . Unfortunately the above was very short lived as after a few days the lock started to take far too long to re.lock , having spoken with Igloohome they suggested changing the battery , which i did , no change really , still a bit to long , but decided to live with it and be a little patient . Today , the gardener was locked out for an hour , i came home to assist with no success , neither bluetooth nor any codes worked , we tried and tried and tried ..until finally for no good reason Voila it opened ..Thank you God !!! This is a product that by it very nature has to work perfectly all the time , or your in big embarrassing trouble , and i simply feel rightly or wrongly that the problems will outweigh the benefits and sooner or later , probably sooner < i would be locked out again ... Sorry , wanted it to be good , the companies responses were quick and polite , but the product in my experience , as was the Masterlock bluetooth padlock , is not worth the risk, stick with a good old combination lock .and i returned it for a refund .

best and heavy, but high price

I loved this in the summer. It worked so well. Then winter came and I’m now getting 2-3 days per battery! I’ve tried rechargeable now, as it’s unsustainable, and I get 1-2 days each time now. Such an expensive shame.

on the face of it a great item, if not a little expensive. the software and idea are pretty good, the reality is, it is not waterproof and the battery will only last a couple of months max in cold weather. I used mine for my garden shed, situated behind my garage and pretty secluded and enclosed. Water still got in to the padlock making it useless. The feature called JUMP START where you can hold a 9v battery to terminals at the bottom of the padlock to open when the battery is dead did not work. When I pulled the rubber lid off the padlock to reveal the terminals ti attach the 9v battery water ran out... In the end had to cut the padlock off with an angle grinder. Shame as the idea is sound but £100 for a padlock that lasted 14 months is a bit too pricy for me. Do not buy if you are wanting to use outdoors.

Lock seems good but I bought it with the expectation of 2 shackles (from the listing) - it only came with one! There’s a good chance that I’ll have to send this back now :(

was used for the gate outside. although it states it is outdoor suitable I don't believe it is. It didn't last for more than 3 weeks. Great Idea and Loved the fact we didn't need keys and it was smart, but definitively needs more work on it for it to be fully weather proof.

I use this padlock for our storage room. Very convinient not having to bring a key everytime you are going to get something from the storage. I can really recommend this padlock

What an amazing little product!! It works very well. Perfect for granting access remotely without the internet, I love the technology behind Igloohome products. I tried Igloohome Smart Keybox before, and this Padlock is the second product I'm trying to test. I was highly impressed with this lock and wrote a review to tell everyone else about my experiences. First, it's HEAVY!! Which on a padlock is a good thing. It's fat where the keypad is, and the shackle is thick and well made. When you touch the keypads, they illuminate so you can see what you're pushing even when you're in the dark. The shackle is thick and REPLACEABLE!! I found that to be a great feature; if the short, squatty shackle isn't what you need, you can get the taller shackle loop or even a thinner loop to fit smaller holes. The electronics are pretty well designed as well, starting with the simple Bluetooth connection to your phone. You install some software on your android or apple phone, and then the software does most of the work in finding the Padlock and sending codes for the Padlock. You can do all sorts of things with the software, from making a new user to padlock with their own passcode to creating one-time use codes and codes that are only good at certain times of the day. When you sync your phone with the Padlock, it tells you who used what code when, with a time stamp. The Padlock takes a baby CR2 battery that is pretty simple to install on the back of the Padlock, and I think one cool thing is it has a port on the bottom of the Padlock for a 9v battery to connect in case the CR2 battery goes dead. I also tried entering the wrong code in the Padlock, and after so many tries, it starts beeping, which is annoying and attention getting honk beep screech. It doesn't stop until I entered the correct code, so it's nice for someone trying to "pick" the lock with just random codes. This thing would be amazing on a pool gate or access to a storage locker. Additionally, I appreciate their responsible and friendly customer service, which is easy to connect via a toll-free number.

Doesn’t require internet connection, but can provide single use codes for delivery guys. Really happy with the product
