Super Saver Yarn, Bright Yellow

The three pack is wrapped in plastic keeping it safe from stains. I have 48 years of crochet experience. Red Heart Super Saver is a good all purpose newbie friendly yarn. It is worster weight (4). I have used this yarn for afghans, ponchos, cloaks, placemats Christmas Stockings and shawls. This is economy acrylic yarn. It does feel rough when new but after a few washes it gets softer and softer with use. I have a floor length hooded cloak I made 30 years ago. This yarn is very durable. It is also easy care for anyone who doesn't want to fuss with hand washing and blocking. This yarn is no dye lot. Sometimes no dye lot yarn can change shades but not Red Heart Super Saver. It is rare if it does. I usually use a F or G hook with this weight. If you are new, making something that needs to withstand wear and tear or not sure how much you need, this is a great choice. If you are just learning get a light solid color to practice. If you are worried about how much yarn you need, you can buy more of this later and it should match the shade of your project. Normally 6 to 8 skeins will make a decent sized afghan. At the price listed for the 3 pack it is like a buy 2 get 1 free! This is not a good choice for baby items or warmer climates. It is awesome for New England winters. My only concern ordering online is I am a pull from the middle of the skein person. In a store I usually check for the yarn end pulling from the middle. I am happy to write that all three skeins I received have the end in the middle available which will help reduce yarn barf! Will purchase more of this yarn as needed.

Decent yarn for the price. This was a good batch. No knots and it all was consistent in color, thickness, and quality. It shedded about average.

Purchased this for my friend, and she loves it! She really likes the texture, and she hasn’t had any issues with it. Great purchase

Great yarn, beautiful colors and arrived early without damage. Good quality and amount of yarn for the price. Yarn itself is overall soft and easy to use. Great for making large garments given the amount of yarn per purchase.

Beautiful color. I like it. Perfect for what I’m making.

I ordered 2 sets of 3-pack of this yarn on May 15, 2026. I got 1 3-pack on about May 20, and the other 3-pack July 2, 2026. I don't understand why they didn't come at the same time. The quality of the yarn is consistent with Red Heart, which is good for making throws and blankets that are machine washable and dryable. The color of the yarn is exactly what I wanted. This yarn is great for beginners in knitting and crocheting and Red Heart has a wide variety of colors.I rated it 4 stars because of the shipping issue, but I'm really happy with how my project is turning out. I will order it again.

A really dark red. I don't call it a Christmas red either. It's pretty close to burgundy but it is dark red if that makes sense. Seems good quality and was a great value.

This is a classic workhorse yarn, and you can get an enormous amount of color variety at affordable prices, and you can wash, and dry it.

Mit dieser Wolle lässt sich super einfach stricken. Es gab keine Knoten in den 3 Knäueln, die ich bekommen habe.

I'm an American and I live in Europe and the yarn just isn't the same. Red heart and others like it are not available here on the shelf. It's just different/better to me from what's available here.

Great variegated yarn

First time I have used this yarn. I've had no issues and it's knitting well for the jumper I'm making. Would recommend

This yarn is fantastic with great consistency in its colour ways; this is essential in planned pooling. The finished work will be beautiful.
