Pulparindo Tamarind Filled Hard Candy

I bought these for a Mexican dinner party. I put them into a party favor box with a few other sweets for guests to take as they left. I ordered a few weeks ago and just tried them myself today. Outrageously delicious! I had no idea they'd be so spicey. I'm just thrilled with the flavor (so far only tried one of the 3 or 4 flavors available). I like it so much - I may order a few more bags just to keep around for myself. Good quality - fresh - no sticky messes as with some hard candies. Colorful wrap - looked great through the cello window of the favor boxes.

These are crunchy, chewy and spicy all at once. Delightful!

They were good but I prefer the pulparindo bars.

I love these! The fact that they can be delivered overnight is even better! You get your value for your money cause gas is expensive and going to the store and back plus tax for snacks adds up. Love the spice level and the texture at the start to end

This is my 2nd time purchasing these candies. Like the classic New Wave song stated, "I like candy". But at my age, most American candy is just about the same its been for years at a time. Sweet, sour, spicy... so many things in one candy! Its a unique pleasure. I have some in a dish right at my work desk -- and whenever I have an urge to wake me from a work stupor, I unwrap one, pop it in my mouth and BAM! a whole, new outlook!

I am unsure if it is specific to the bag I received, but the majority of the candies lacked significant flavor or spice. However, a few pieces did exhibit excellent flavor and spice, suggesting the possibility of a defective bag.
