pTrumpet Plastic Trumpet with 3C and 5C Mouthpiece and Carry Bag - Bb Student - White

This trumpet is brilliant. It’s light, sturdy, excellent for beginners but my son’s teacher also rates it highly for having a decent sound. What made me actually bother to write a review is how impressed I was with the after sales service. We had a problem with sticking valves, tried trouble shooting, but when this didn’t worked I reached out to the company and they were amazing - efficient, responsive, helpful. Highly recommend.

This trumpet is pretty good for the price. I would definitely recommend for a learner or a second instrument. However on playing I have found that when playing on the third valve in the lower registers it becomes quite flat muffled and difficult to get a good sound. This can be compensated by changing your playing style and forcing the air through. Saying this I have been very impressed with the sound produced with a rich tone which although not quite as brilliant as a traditional brass trumpet is still very good. Tuning has been a slight issue for me however I believe this is more down to getting used to a new instrument rather than down to the instrument itself. Overall I would buy this again and would recommend it to others, the only thing I would ask for is a greater range of colours.

Great little Trumpet used it instead of bringing my expensive one away with me, perfectly fine for keeping up practicing while away...

The second edition of this instrument (pTrumpet2) was meant to have fixed all the quality control issues with the original. But almost within minutes ALL THREE valves got stuck and valve No.1 stuck so badly that I had to prise it out. After several attempts to thoroughly clean the valve casings and pistons plus a dab of the recommended oil the problem persists. I can barely play a few notes without the sticking happening again. The reason is quite clear: The valve casings are not smooth and I suspect the bore of the cylinders is warped, and the type of plastic used inherently binds the valves against the casing walls. All the above might be rectified if the return springs were strong enough but they are pathetically weak, perhaps a third of the strength of normal brass trumpet springs. There are proper brass trumpets on Amazon at roughly the same price as this plastic one, and they even have tuning slides, so my experiment with a plastic instrument - purchased for its low weight - was a very bad experience which I now regret. Unfortunately it is unlikely to be returnable having been used. I would like to warn others that they are taking pot luck with this product. You may or may not get sticky valves, but if you do it is virtually impossible to fix.

Ordered this so that I would have a lightweight instrument to take away with me. Impressed with the sound of the instrument but slightly disappointed with the look, which I shouldn't really be comparing with a brass instrument. Enjoyed playing to begin with but had problems with sticky valves so used a small amount of valve oil. I continued to have sticky valves so then wiped away the valve oil. However, the problem has persisted and I am getting frustrated now. Looking forward to getting home and playing my brass instrument.

I'm trumpet biginner. Trumpet is very light i thought I think It is not correct a sound pitch at a higher octave and need an adjustment of tuning slide. but i love it as second instrument lightweight, look so cute and not bad sound

Wow! What a cool horn! I was really loving playing until the 3rd valve started to stick! I tried cleaning it, oiling it, cleaning it off again... nothing has worked. I might have to send it back if the pTrumpet people don't respond. Edit: I contacted customer support and within 12 hours they had replied with some helpful advice. All of the valves are interchangeable so I switched out the 2nd and 3rd valve and I haven't had any problems! Great horn!

Acheté pour mon fils de 6 ans qui débute. Elle est parfaitement adapté car très légère, il ne se fatigue donc pas. N’étant pas spécialiste je ne jugerais pas des prestations musicales mais elles semble d’un niveau tout à fait acceptable pour un débutant. Un des pistons coince, ça se démonte et une fois lubrifié ça fonctionne.

Leggo alcune recensioni di persone che si lamentano di continuo, non sono mai contenti, è una tromba da poco più di 100 euro, molto intonata, più intonata di alcune trombe professionali, i bocchini in dotazione sono una bomba, se si usa un bocchino in ottone la tromba acquisisce un suono più ricco di armonici, ma a me non dispiace anche così. I pistoni non son o il massimo ma do comunque 5 stelle perchè per anni ho suonato con una tromba da 1000 euro Yamaha ed i pistoni non erano migliori di questi.

Lo compré por la comodidad de no tener que estar con la limpieza del latón y estudiar siempre que me apetezca. Ésta es más sufrida. No suena mal.

アラ還（チョット前）のアマチュア・トランぺッターです。 昨日amazonより到着、3時間試奏の感想です。 トランペットの機能は他の方のレビュー通り、軽く・吹きやすく・音程よく・素直な音色・ピストン操作も合格、対費用効果抜群。 練習後のケアも現在所有のラッパ達のように気にせずに済み、ピッコロ・トランペットのウォーミングアップ用にも使えます。 音量は小さいですが、室内練習にはメリットとなり、自分の持音の確認にもなります。 ｐtrumpet特有の音色も楽しめますよ。 私はアコギも弾きますが、昨年の沖縄旅行に持参したLittle Martinの代わりに今年はp trumpetを持参します。 子供達の可能性拡大に最適ですが、自分の可能性も広げてくれるのではないでしょうか？ イギリスでプロデュースしてますが、メーカーはConn Selmer 輸入元は野中貿易です。
