Perfect! I had a silicone hair catcher before but it was hard to clean and got clogged with conditioner just as much as hair since it had to be thick enough to hold a shape. This one only traps hair and anything bigger than the holes and I like the low profile so I don't accidentally kick it. Easy enough to clean in one piece but the center does come out and the little handle is nice so I don't have to pick it up by gross parts.

Works as advertised. Is great. Looks good. One issue I had is with my bathtub, not the drain catcher. I suspect this may be true with many tubs though. My tub has maybe a millimeter divot near the drain that goes the length of the tub. This lets the water pool in the middle as it drains. It's almost imperceptible. The problem is this drain screen doesn't quite seal it all the way. Mostly! The seal on the bottom is really nice, and a mostly flat tub won't have this issue. All of that said, it still works well enough. Only some hair slips under, but the catcher does sort of... stick it near the top of the drain. I can easily grab the hair that slipped somewhat into the drain and clean it out.

Had similar in plastic form but they would get mucky and warp over time needing replacement. This seems very durable and easier to clean/sterilize. Does a great job catching small things and hair types and lengths. Won't be surprised if this is the last one i have to buy for years.

High quality material, good weight to keep it down. The center portion that stuff is supposed to drain into sits higher than the rest of the product so you'll get stuff accumulating around the perimeter of the product so not the most effective drainer I've used but still does a decent job.

This is so well made! It has weight that keeps it from jumping out of the drain when it's bumped. The silicone rim on the bottom keeps hair from sneaking under. It's easy to clean and looks like it's part of the actual tub. I would recommend this to everyone!

Modern-looking, sleek design, perfect fit. I love the middle hook extension that makes it easy to lift it up and clean it. It catches hair well; also pieces of fuzz, threads, etc. from wash cloths. I will recommend this product to other people! Thank you Lekeye!

When I noticed this LEKEYE Drain Hair Catcher on Amazon, I was happy to see it closely resembled the very effective, but not very attractive, white plastic tub drain hair catchers I had been using. I’d been wanting to find a nicer looking replacement for the plastic ones. They aren't very nice to look at. They also turn an unpleasant shade of yellow pretty quickly, and if you don’t replace them quickly enough, the bottom basket part tends to crack. That's why it surprised me that the old white plastic tub hair catcher was so much more effective at catching hair then the fancy, shiny new metal LEKEYE hair catcher. But I jumped at the chance of replacing ugly old yellowing white plastic for nice, clean shiny chrome. Logically, if these two tub drain hair catchers had a similar design, they were going to work the same- right? After it arrived, I switched out the old yellowy plastic hair catcher with the new LEKEYE catcher. I was pleased at how much more attractive it was, and also how much more durable it was going to be than the plastic ones I had to constantly replace. One thing that did concern me a bit, as soon as I took the LEKEYE drain cover out of its box, was the size of the holes. When compared to the holes in the old plastic hair catcher, the holes on the LEKEYE catcher looked huge. I usually find quite a few hairs wound around the part of my old plastic hair catcher that was above the drain, and the holes in the LEKEYE catcher looked particularly big here. Well, I thought- the people that designed this object made it for catching hair- right? They knew what they were doing when they calibrated the size of the holes. The only way to know how well this new LEKEYE tub drain thing worked was to test it out. Post showering, I was surprised at how few hairs I found in the new metal hair catcher. Usually, I have to clean out the plastic hair catcher after every shower, especially the basket part, to remove the hairs I have lost. It’s not a huge amount of hair, but I definitely do lose some hair. I have shoulder length dark hair, so my shed hairs are hard to miss. We all lose around 100 hairs a day, give or take, and I am very familiar with the amount of shed hairs I usually find in the plastic hair catcher after a shower. But oddly, I only found a few hairs in the new LEKEYE catcher, in both the basket and on the outer perimeter with its suspiciously large drain holes. Weird. I decided to put a small metal mesh drain strainer into the basket of the LEKEYE catcher. With the fine mesh on the little strainer installed in the LEKEYE’s basket, I was positive I would find, post-shower, more shed hairs in the LEKEYE trap (and the strainer) than the last time. And yes, there was more hair- about three or four more hairs. Still nowhere near the amount of hair I usually found trapped in the plastic hair catcher. I knew I wasn't losing less hair. The hair I was losing, that I wasn’t finding in the LEKEYE hair trap, had to be going somewhere. It just wasn't being caught by the LEKEYE hair trap. The hair I was still shedding in the shower had to be going down the drain. I decided to test my hypothesis. I switched out the shiny new LEKEYE hair catcher and the little metal mesh strainer nestled inside of it with the old, homely, white plastic tub drain trap. I had kept the old plastic catcher on a hunch. My hunch, unfortunately, was right. After the next shower, I checked the plastic hair catcher. There they were: the missing hairs. The amount of hairs I usually found after a shower were right there, in the basket of the white plastic hair catcher, and wound around its outside perimeter. Plastic cheapie was catching hairs, and fancy new LEKEYE was not. So, courtesy of the LEKEYE, the shed hairs were going right down the drain. If the holes on the LEKEYE tub hair catcher were smaller, over all of it, it would without doubt be a fantastic product. I'm puzzled as to why the company went with a design decision to calibrate the holes on a tub drain hair catcher to be around 1/8th of an inch across. I'm sure they tested their product for quality control. They evidently got different results from when I tested their product, as I would have made the holes smaller. Because holes that big were letting hair through. I would much rather have to look at an unattractive plastic tub drain hair catcher that does a great job of catching hair, than have a pretty shiny one in the tub that looks nice, but doesn’t catch hair, and then have to pay a large plumbing bill. It is probably going to add up to more money too over time to keep replacing the plastic ones, but that is still going to be less of a hassle than dealing with a tub drain that has over time become clogged with hair. So, unfortunately, for all of its pretty shininess and metal sturdiness, I cannot recommend the LEKEYE Drain Hair Catcher/Bathtub Shower Drain Hair Trap, for the reason that- it simply is not catching the hairs being lost in the shower. Pas de petits passages ou de picots au niveau de la base de la jupe, donc il reste toujours un peu d'eau qui a tendance à ne pas s'écouler et stagner autour de la coupelle. L'autre modèle de la même marque mais en forme de dome est beaucoup plus efficace, même si moins design/discret.

This is great! I have tried several traps before, mainly silicone and they haven’t really worked. I tried this on a whim - and it’s fantastic, it fits perfectly (we have a round shower trap) and it’s so effective. I will buy again should I need to and would 100% recommend if it fits your shower

I love this, but it has one quirk, which I'll describe first. The bad: this thing's design -- and part of the reason it works so well -- relies on part of it extending up from the surface of the shower or tub to create a bump that stops hair. I have a shower where the drain is in the middle, not the corner, and it means I can no longer stand on the spot where the drain is located -- I have to keep my feet someplace else. A minor annoyance, because sometimes as I turn around to reposition my body, I can't step in exactly the same place that I used to. It's not something you'll trip over or anything, but it does get slightly in the way. However ... The good: oh my god, does this thing stop hair! The photos other reviewers have included are accurate. After 2 or 3 days I'll casually glance down and notice a minor clump of hair, stopped by the drain's central bump, circling around the drain. All I do is take a square of toilet paper (because old hair is gross!) and easily grab the offending glob and toss it into the toilet. I don't have to fight with it -- nothing gets snagged on anything. It's ridiculously easy. One other thing -- I worried at first that I would have to silicone this thing to the shower, because otherwise surely hair would slip underneath and bypass all the drain's hair-stopping design, right? Wrong. This drain cover remains unattached, yet it still stops all the hair. So -- if you can handle losing the ability to stand on your drain (which I would imagine most people can), this is an amazing hair-stopping device that I wish I'd found sooner. I'd used a sort of mesh as a hair filter before, and it worked, but it also was so difficult and scuzzy to clean ... This thing was absolutely worth the $20 bucks it cost.
