Maxpedition ROLLYPOLY® Folding Dump Pouch (Wolf Gray) 3x3x1.75

I often wear it on my belt and find it absolutely perfect for arrowheads, wild edibles, friendship rocks and fossils, tinder, trash, nails, seashells, fishing tackle, fish (with wet grass below and above), dog doo, fire crackers, spent shot shells, rain gear. Some of these uses need the drain hole to be plugged, and even though the pouch cleans up super easily, I typically line it with a gallon sized Ziploc for most uses. An empty Ziploc easily rolls up within the pouch. It's also worth noting that lead and food sources aren't really a good combination. Others have commented about putting 2 1-liter water bottles in it, but I find this quite too weighty for me to have on my belt for very long. I do, however, put a single 1-liter bottle (or can of pop) in it occasionally, add a few ice cubes in a Ziploc, and cinch it tight for a makeshift cooler. Works amazingly well for a bit. Incredibly durable and easy to use. The "Siamese Clip" works fine to attach to belt loop or 1-inch backpack straps, but I find the pouch to fit all of my niches resting on my belt (which props it up slightly more than on a belt loop and is much more accessible than on a backpack). Also has tactical webbing, but I'll let those who know what they're talking about address those. Love the wolf-gray version. Doesn't scream "tactical" but still has very rugged look to it. Great for not drawing attention (except for being totally the most practical gear ever seen). I had a horrible experience with my first piece of Maxpedition gear several years ago (rain drained directly into concealed carry compartment and stitching came undone with very first moderate use), but I continued to hear all things incredible about Maxpedition ever since. Glad to have given them another chance with 3 recent purchases that have all been absolutely excellent (wallet, dump pouch, and Micro Pocket Organizer). I have examined every stitch and seem and can find nothing that would indicate anything but the best in gear.

I almost ordered the mega pouch because in the pics this one doesn’t look quit big enough but I’m glad I didn’t it is plenty roomy and folds down to a smaller size than its big brother. Seems very durable like most of their gear. It also has a drain hole in the bottom which is a plus if it’s raining or your collected sea shells for example so the can be drying while your still collecting. Most of the time I forget I’m even carrying it which is good but it’s always their when I need it. Also it has several ways to attach such as on mole webbing with malice clips or it also has a clip already installed and the belt loop which is the way I carry it but it’s nice to be able to attach to a bag easily as well. I will update if it doesn’t hold up the way I suspect it will or if any other changes. I must add that I ordered a cheaper “knockoff” version about a month before ordering this and I didn’t like the design and after less than 2 weeks the stitches gave way and it was useless. So don’t make my mistake go for the good one and save money in the long run as well.

Not only do I carry this, but, all my guys do. This pouch is perfect. Its a Dump pouch. It does what a Dump pouch does, and well. do you Dump well? Grab your mag full hand, and do not just place it in the pouch, shove it in the pouch seating it, so you can get more in there and keep it clean. Well, I think anyone coming to see reviews here, would already know what a dump pouch is, and how to use it. Also, that Maxpedition is the way to go. Now, I use the sling bag as my daily carry, and favor this company a lot. So, is it over borad to go with them for a dump pouch. No, I have others, and they do not stand up to the quality. This one looks really good as well.

Doesn't take up much belt real estate, big and roomy when opened up, but nice and compact when rolled up into itself

Fits tightly and easily folded back into pouch with one hand. Holds ample ammo and magazines. Great addition to duty belt.

maxpedition es una muy buena marca, me gusta mucho, y esta bolsa es bastante voluptuosa para llevar en el cinturon, pero tiene muy buena calidad.

excelente precio, se tardo un pocco en llegar sin embargo llego en perfectas condiciones, muy ligera y compacta, muy buena capacidad una ves abierta, muy buenos materiales y resistentes, definitivamente lo que ofrece la marca, sin duda un excelente acompañamiento extra en tu mochila que no debe de faltar, para cualquier cosa, desde trozos de madera, ropa sucia, ropa mojada, hasta recolectanddo labasura durante tu caminata para que al regresar quede siempre limpia la montaña.

Still using the first one after 3 years of use / abuse but my wife wanted one that coordinated better with the hip-belt on her rucksack. Didn't hesitate to buy the same again...... except a different colour.
