Go and buy it!!
We absolutely love the crayon books in our family. When we got this Christmas addition to the stories I was a little hesitant, wondering if it could keep up to the high standard of the others. I neednโt have worried, it is AMAZING! My 7 year old son loved the addition of the envelopes, with lots of different activities to try. We both laughed throughout the book and we particularly liked the fact that it developed the stories of characters we have come to love! I was very pleased to see the addition of the Hanukkah card (RE Teacher) as I feel it opens the minds of children, who may not have heard of this festival. The illustrations are fanatic, the mix of real life photos and the beautiful crayon pictures is really effective. Go and buy it!!

Such a wonderful interactive book
What can I say, this book is just wonderful! Lots of different bits to get out and play with and a lovely little story. If you havenโt read the day the crayons quit and the day the crayons came home then some of the humour may be lost on you but if you have.. then I would highly recommend. Lovely quality and a lovely read!

Wonderful book, full of surprises!
Bought this for my daughter, as she loves previous Crayon books. I must admit i was excited as well, and wasnโt disappointed. This book came with lots of surprises inside, including a hilarious โmapโ of the world, which went straight on the wall. My personal favourite were cute paper Christmas tree decorations, which my daughter put on her little tree. Letters from Crayons were as always funny and very entertaining to read. As soon as we read it I ordered more copies for my little cousins. Definitely recommended!

Joyful and triumphant
My six-year-old son was overjoyed by this book: it's a very fun, tactile, exciting object that's full of surprises ranging from little cut-outs to a board game. It's the kind of clever, thoughtful packaging that can make a book much more exciting than an iPad (and the wee man loves his iPad) and tonight's bedtime was packed with delightful gasps and a lot of laughter. I think it's best enjoyed after reading the other Crayons books: there are a couple of running gags from the series that pay off beautifully here. As others have said, it's not great for those of us with poor eyesight though: some of the writing is very small and the colours can be hard to read in poor lighting.

The crayons personalities are so different and funny, the kids all love these stories. This book has press out accessories that go along with the story. Brilliant!

Just as good as the first!
As a great fan of the first book, I was unsure whether this would live up to expectations. However, it most certainly did! A fab, entertaining story which makes a lovely Christmas gift. It is ideal for a Christmas Eve box to be read the night before Christmas for that wonderful, festive feeling! Brilliant, feel-good story!

The crayon's have festive fun!
A brilliant Christmas present for anyone who has already enjoyed 'The Day the Crayons Quit' and 'The Day the Crayons came home'. The interactive nature of this present - with decorations, recipes and maps to open and play with on most pages makes it really fun for those aged between 4 and 6 years old. Well constructed and really well written and drawn - these books are a joy for grown ups to read to their children, there is humour for everyone in them!
