Echo SRM-2620T Line Trimmer High Torque 25.4cc Engine Speed Feed Head

I had a Husqvarna string trimmer, and it was OK, probably needed the carburetor adjusted, because it bogged down a lot. But even at full power when it was running correctly, it never had it much oomph as I wanted. So I decided to upgrade. Don’t know if you’ve ever seen the YouTube channel called, Chickanic, but she gives excellent advice on Small engine repair, so I decided to check in with her channel. She told me on the idea of this echo SRM – 2620 T. In case you didn’t know, the T stands for torque. So string trimmer with maximum torque and handle maximum weeds. It achieve this with a different gear ratio at the head. A lower gear ratio means more torque. It arrived yesterday, and I immediately unboxed it, put some gas in it, and it fired right up. I took it to a place where the weeds were nearly 3 feet tall. And some of them had stocks that were nearly woody. A pretty tough test. It passed with flying colors. I love good tools because they make life easier. This one is not the cheapest one on the rack, but it’s a keeper.

Very durable very powerful works great

I bought this to replace my Echo pro model trimmer that worked well for many years, but finally gave up the ghost. So far, it seems to work pretty well.

Husband loves this thing light weight but cuts awesome

I had a Stihl FS130 4 stroke previously. Very powerful, but difficult starting. Bought this Echo 2 stroke. Very happy with it so far. It’s a beast like the Stihl but much more reliable to starting.

This trimmer is probably overkill for the yard work I do. But on the other hand, it is a powerful beast of a machine. It has a reasonable weight, trims well, is easy to start and is built with quality. I have no doubt I will getting many years of use from it and will not be doing any repair work on it anytime soon.
