I really like this stuff. It takes tire bloom (brown residue) off and brings them back to new for tire shine/sealer. I use Carpro Darkside. My car's wheels are ceramic coated, but some my wife and son's aren't. It works well on either. I used my first gallon and just got 2 more. I started mixing it 1:1 instead of straight and it works the same. If you have baked on brake dust, I'd suggest Adam's iron remover. Make sure to rinse it off thouroghly, and then rinse a little more. Once you're wheels and tires are clean, you will only need this cleaner if you keep up with it.

This is really good stuff. I read the negative reviews from some (especially the one where person wants to replace 4 brake calipers because this cleaned the silk-screen paint off of them). If you're experienced with detailing cars, you'll know that paint is fragile and you should test your product on an inconspicuous area before going all in. Others complain about the brown residue it pulls out and leaves on their tires... duh?!?! What did you think was going to happen? If you used aggressive cleaners like the old eagle one A-Z and are looking for a replacement, this or P&S (less aggressive) is it. You're still going to need to scrub. This isn't magic, but it removes years of baked on semi-metallic brake dust in just a single use. It isn't going to strip chrome, lift single stage urethane or enamel paint, or destroy clearcoat... and it does the job it is intended to do. In my experience, this is much stronger than any other brand now available, which also accounts for the negative reviews by people who either dont dilute it for daily cleaning or over dilute it when they need more strength. Compared to the stuff we could get 20 years ago, this is just 'meh', but nowadays it is the best you can buy. Not intended as an insult to anyone, just that you sometimes need to learn by doing... and if you're using strong cleaning chemicals, use some common sense and wear safety glasses OVER your prescription lenses if you consider them to be as important as your actual eyes.

Product works great, cleans wheels well and leaves a nice shine with grime and dust effectively removed. Also cleans tires well I think by removing oxidized rubber. Takes a little brushing but true with all products. in my experience. Nozzle is flimsy and leaks. Bad news is it leaves marks on asphalt driveway that will not come off even when pressure washed. I believe it is a chemical reaction. Can no longer use it as a result. Wife wants driveway sealed ~ $350.00 Any suggestions from company or other users appreciated.

Very impressed actually. I had WD40 cleaner de-greaser and a wire brush which I tried first on a tire that I have not scrubbed for over 3 years. Some stuff came out but not much. It seemed clean. But I had my suspicions. So I Googled and it says Adam's is the best or one of the best. Amazon has at pretty good price for the gallon so I bought it. I also bought a whole tire cleaning kit. As soon as I sprayed it I saw something different. Brown stuff!!!! After I brushed it I washed with water and applied again and more brown stuff came out but not so much. After I sprayed water on wheel became like new. Literally like new!!!! So I don't have to use it twice I will be cleaning wheels once a month now. It only takes a few minutes with proper tools. Highly recommended!!!

This works amazingly ! Put it on my wifes 23 year old car's wheels which were brown from brake dust and dirt. With a little agitating with a brush the wheels were bright silver again and the tires were brand new black. Best cleaning product I have ever used.

... to all the dirt?! After my first wash of my new 2024 Dark Horse I noticed that my tires, when it dried, were not clean. I had scrubbed and a hard brush and used soap and for sure thought I did a good job. That is until the water dried and left a surprise for me. I was pretty upset about it and after my brother told me I should be using a special cleaner I took to the internet and started researching Top 10 wheel and tire cleaners. Saw some interesting Youtube videos and among them all was this one brand. One video had TurtleWax beating it, so I opted for it at my local car repair retailer that we all know and love (or hate) I was more than disappointed after its use and returned the used bottle the very next day and found an Adam's Wheel and Tire Cleaner at another shop (as the one I visited the night prior didn't have it in stock) Fast forward to its application and I was very happy to see how well it worked! Just like in the Youtube video. You can literally see all the dirt and brake dust oozing away after just spraying it on. Long story short, it did the job quite well and I ordered 2 more bottles a few weeks later. My only complaint is that one bottle doesn't last long, but you don't need a second application on the first go. I imagine if you have larger tires, you'll need to cover more area. So I'd recommend buying the larger bottle. Buying through Amazon is much cheaper than through the store too. So far, I have used this product (Adams) on both my Mustangs (2017 GT, 2024 Dark Horse) Yokohama and Pirelli tires, respectively. On the Yokohamas, I hadn't washed them in over 6 months. By washed, I really mean I never scrubbed washed the tires. Adams Wheel and Tire Cleaner removed ALL the dirt in just one application. Heck.. when I rewashed them last weekend, I didn't need to scrub wash the tires. Obviously, if you used another tire application on top after it has dried, it's going to keep them bad boys clean for some time. Also keep in mind your results may differ depending on a few factors. The amount of brake dust your wheels and tires accumulate after a few trips, the terrain you drive your vehicle on (pavement, asphalt, dirt roads, clay, mud, etc) Make sure you're using a good tire brush too. Don't just use a sponge and expect to get A++ results. I also purchased a wheel cleaning kit last week (which I used in the pictures I uploaded) Overall, I'm happy with the results that this product produced and would strongly recommend. The bottle nozzle came in broke, just put it in another bottle. Product works ok, biggest reason for 3 stars is that you can burn through a bottle pretty quick trying to get decent coverage. I like most of their products just not this one so much.

Does a good job cleaning rims and performed well on my 2 vehicles. But get a bigger bottle and mine was barely enough for 8 tyres. Just a friendly suggestion.
