Is this good for picking Italian plums?

I actually use the fruit picker to pick lemons and great-fruit so yes it’s good for smaller fruit as well as larger fruit 😊

Can this be used for coconuts?

I lived in Mexico for six years, and had a big coconut palm in our back yard. So I speak with some expertise on this subject. I think it would be tough to use this for coconuts. Probably not long enough, and they are attached by something much stronger than an orange, The locals used a machete to remover them. That seemed to be the most effective method.

My last fruit picker had a twisting lock for the extension, but the lock broke, so it only reached 1/2 as far. How does this extension fasten?

It’s a real flimsy it about a 1” pipe that screws together with plastic couplers. I just bought it for the basket. Great price.
