Great quality, spacious and flight cabin friendly
Great purchase, bought a couple of years ago for a trip to South America and still use it today. Very spacious with multiple compartments including a convenient pocket in the main section that can hold anything from hydration pouches to laptops depending on what you’re travelling for. In terms of space, with the help of packing cubes I was able to fit enough for a 2 week trip (1 wash in between). The additional benefit is that I was able to carry this bag onto the cabin on multiple flights which allowed for much more convenient travel. Would recommend.

A bag I can trust for all conditions & terrain. 10/10
Great quality back pack. I chose this for its number of pockets and compartments. The side pockets are especially useful for water bottles. It feels extremely good quality. I have owned this for around 6 weeks now and I have taken it on several hikes including Pen y Fan, Corn Du, Fan Y Big and Llyn Y Fan Fach/Fawr. All in the Brecon Beacons. It has performed better than expected. There is a waterproof cover that comes with it, which is very useful. I have had a couple of people ask me where I got it from whilst out hiking. It really looks the part. I have worn this in rain, snow and sunny weather so far. The bag also feels really comfortable to wear. I carry a weight of around 12-15kgs when I'm out hiking, and this bag handles it really well. I am a big chap. 15.5 stone and this fits me just fine. Plenty of adjustable space for the bigger or smaller person. When compared to other back packs which cost double this, then this really is an amazing deal. I would highly recommend this product. Seems it will last me a long, long time. Very happy.

Great Rucksack. Shame about the zip pulls!
This is a fabulous rucksack. Well made in the main and very comfortable to wear on a hike. It holds everything you need for a days hike and has plenty of pockets. The way the straps fit does really even out the weight and make it easy to wear and carry. I particularly like that the rain cover is not part of the bag, but has its own pocket. This means it can be placed over the whole bag. It’s an excellent bright colour which is handy to make you stand out if you are walking on country lanes! The only downside is the quality of the zip pulls. They are not doubled over so in just one day, on a 5.5 mile hike, they started fraying. This is such a shame on an otherwise high quality rucksack. We used a lighter to melt the ends to try and stop them fraying any further, but they definitely should be sewn as a loop. I would definitely recommend the rucksack despite the zip pull issue.

Great bag
This completed my entire 2024 hiking season and is heading into my 2025 season without an issue. It’s survived heat and rain, snow and frozen conditions. It’s even dealt with scrambles and the endless miles of bouncing around on my back loaded with kit. The zips, stitching and straps are as good as they were when I unpacked it. It doesn’t scream influencer branding which I like, it’s a good strong bag that needs to get the job done. So happy I went with this bag and if I need to replace it I’ll go like for like. This will easily go into the 2026 season without a doubt. Waist brace is comfy, shoulder straps are also and the pocket on the waist strap helps for small items to be in reach like energy chewables on walks.

Very pleased
Just to say, I have used a backpack all my adult life, and in my younger years went through 2 of the old Karrimor packs travelling. This Mountaintop 40L Hiking Backpack I got for regular day-to-day use carrying a light to mid load. It is very suitable for this purpose. For the price, you can’t complain about anything. It is relatively well made and thought out, with good zippers and various practical straps for carrying gear. The fabric is rip-stop nylon. It has a rain cover, which I wasn’t expecting as it wasn’t advertised as having one. It is situated at the base in its dedicated compartment to which it is fastened with a D-strap, which makes it easy to get out and cover the pack. It is one of the nice touches to this pack. Previous packs I have always tried out and bought from a shop, but I was prepared to buy online in this instance. As it happens, at 6’ 3” the pack only just fits me. The RRP, if it’s genuine, seems steep, and I wouldn’t have paid that. One of the main reasons I chose this pack was it suited my needs and looked a bargain. The pack is roomy and expandable enough to house a reasonable number of items, but is not too big. The straps at the bottom are very helpful for fastening say a sleeping bag or a raincoat. It has a flexible structure. I took it packed with a few essentials into the cabin on a recent Easyjet flight with no problem. I wouldn’t recommend trying it though with the pack full. I would be happy to use this pack for light hiking and trips, but not for travelling. For that I would invest in something more appropriate and substantial. The Mountaintop, for example, has a basic belt fastening, but for travelling and carrying a heavier load you need a proper belt system that takes weight off the shoulders.

Brilliant
A brilliant bit of kit. It has many pockets and a specific section to pull a hydration bladder hose through. It's been on hikes and bike rides with me and is so comfortable thanks to the adjustable straps.

Incredible rucksack for the price for a daysack or even an overnight.
Bought this for day hikes and overnight wild camps and am really impressed. I got the 40l version and it has an incredible amount of space for a day hike and just enough for an overnight. You may struggle with winter overnights or multiple overnights, depending on the size of your kit. The main compartment has just enough space for my tent, sleeping mat, pillow, jetboil style cooking system, and down sleeping bag. I have far from the highest end kit but equally I don't have the absolute cheapest. You'd definitely struggle to get this bag to fit the cheaper sleeping mats/synthetic sleeping bags without attaching some stuff to the outside. Once I've packed all that in, it still offers another large pocket (now smaller from the bulge of the other kit) which holds my extra layers, and a front pocket which holds sit mat, trowel, emergency bivvy, first aid etc, as well as two large water bottle pockets which hold my hiking poles and tent pole - there is a convenient elastic strap above each water bottle pocket to hold poles super securely. And then there is still a hip belt pocket which can be used for a small phone, or snacks etc. There's also a water bladder pocket with a retaining clip and a hole to route the tube out, which is great as it can be inconvenient to take the full bag off to hydrate. There is also an elastic strap on the front which can hold yet more kit on the outside, as well as a good few carabiner attachment points on both the bag and the straps to hang whistles, a compass, a knife, or whatever. (the chest strap has a built in whistle but I also carry a dedicated two tone whistle on one of the straps which seems a little louder). The attached photo is the bag fully loaded with a spring camping setup including tent, stove, and sleeping bag. You can see you need every bit of space but everything does just about fit. Without water the whole thing is about 8kg. So the bag holds a lot of kit and has a lot of useful features, but its also comfy to wear. The back and shoulder straps are nicely padded and the back seems to have decent airflow for sweat prevention as much as is possible. It has a chest strap and hip strap, both of which are adjustable to fit my large frame and could go down to a smaller frame, with elastic loops to keep excess straps under control. It has compression straps to compress the excess bag material down if you are only partially filling it. This, combined with the adjustable straps, and dedicated fixing points/pockets etc, means you could easily run with it without it bouncing around too much. Obviously it's not really a dedicated trailrunning backpack but if you're like me and like to occasionally slowly jog down a descent when the gradient and terrain are compliant, then it works nicely. It looks smart and the materials seem high quality for the price. It even comes with a built in rain fly hidden in a bottom pocket to help keep it waterproof, although you'll probably still want to use drybags or a pack liner for items that must stay dry. Considering this item new is comparable in price or cheaper than comparable (often less feature rich) used branded bags on Vinted, it seems a no brainer to me. My only slight complaint is that it doesn't appear to have much reflective material for road walking. I can see one small patch of reflective material at the bottom of the back for cars approaching from behind and none on the front/sides. Obviously it's a bag for the fells not the roads, and it'll be mostly used in the day but some fellwalks do include road sections and if you are caught out you could be walking them after dark so a little more visibility at night would be welcome. Otherwise it's absolutely excellent.

Great rucksack for everyday
I bought this rucksack to replace an existing one that was beginning to fall apart after 10 years of extensive use. So far, it has not disappointed. It's a very useful but not overwhelming size and is great for everyday use. It has a number of pockets at convenient places and the zips seem sturdy. The weight is evenly distributed and supported with chest and belly straps. The shoulder straps are also nicely padded and offer good support.

Daher klare Klaufempfehlung!
