Do I need the keyless start option on my lancer ? I have to use a key right now

Your Lancer and key fob must support starting without the key in the ignition. This plastic piece just sits over where the key would be placed, and you turn it just like you would a normal key. My 2010 Lancer is a GTS, which was the third of five tiers. I'm not sure if all Lancer trims support this function.
