CARDO PTB00101 JBL PACKTALK BOLD DUO Sound by JBL HEADSET 2-PACK

Compared to a less expensive, although popular and well known alternate brand, the Cardo Packtalk is a far superior communicator. Very simple app connects quicker than other and is far more simplified and so far no drop out. Intercom communication over music is so much better. Crank up the tunes and when you or partner talk it overlays clearly while music volume lowers then raises when talking is done. Other brand was scratchy at low speeds (surface streets) and yelling to be heard and understood up to 55/60mph. It was completely incoherent garbling at anything above 60mph. This Cardo unit is perfect clear up to 60. At speeds up to 80/90, communication can still be understood with a lot of the background noise taken out considerably. As for cost, the ‘other brand’ 2 pack was about 250$ on sale. Paying an additional $200 more for the Cardo was absolutely WORTH IT!

I was hesitant at first. However, it is totally worth it. The installation is much easier than I expected, and the instructions are actually pretty helpful. The worst part was figuring out where to place the speakers so that it would be comfortable and it would sound good. Talking about sound, the quality of the speakers is amazing! It does a really good job at cancelling sounds while riding, and it also allows you to hear phone calls and other rides pretty well. The microphone is also really good. I was afraid that people would hear me breath or the wind would be too loud, but nope. I definitely recommend this. It is a costy investment, but a very worth one.

Easy to use and works great

Replaced S20 Sena which are a nice pair of headsets. These new ones are even better. With S20, you have to tell her to join the intercom group. With Cardo, once all are set up, the intercom group auto connects once the units are within range of each other. We ride with a total of 6. Seamless integration. Super clear. Music is a little soft but works well. Pricy units but well worth the money. In this case, you get what you pay for.

After 7500 miles miles with my wife on the back of the bike I must say I absolutely love this product. We can both listen to music, make and recieve calls on our own phone independent of the other. At the same time we can talk to each other in full duplex at the same time. Perfect for what I needed. The only thing I wish is that HD would get there head on straight and allow CARDO to connect via bt to the boom box. That is a HD problem though.

We love these! Sounds great and they have a very good range for talking to each other. Only thing that I don’t care for is if I’m singing along with my songs my husband has to hear it LOL. We have been ridden in the rain with them and it didn’t affect them which is really great. They are easy to install and the battery life is superb.

It was one of my best purchases I ever made on Amazon, I couldn't predict how many benefits this product offers! I'm part of a group of 43 riders and more than half of the group adhered to this product and our trips were never the same again, we talked all the time and listened to music at the same time. And the quality of JBL headphones is sensational

We love that we can connect to each other to talk on our motorcycles without having to press anything. When we want to talk we just talk and it lowers our music volume into the background and we can talk to other riders.

Hubby & I use all the time when riding. Sound quality pretty good but seem to miss the first burst of speaking sometimes and have to ask person to repeat.

Since I'm not the most skilled person on assembling things, I payed someone to do it for me, but I trust that it's easy enough. Sound Quality is the best I ever tried, but listening to muisic may be impaired at high speeds. Phone works fine, though. Battery life is astonishing, but Cardo aimed too high when stating that the range goes up to a mile.

All the everything is fine but the intercom button , it is not working at all so I can't pair with any other fellow rider

Easy to setup and sync together. First big trip 8 hrs on the road and the batter held up good.
