Would these fit in place of a jeep xj's side marker lights?

Are these able to go on a boat trailer?

As a marker light or turn signal yes they are waterproof.

Do these actually look purple? They appear to be more of a magenta in the images.

I ones I received do look purple, I also installed the strobe remote switch and they look good , they ate on my wife's golf cart

Are these bright enough for interior boat lighting?

Probably not because they are are dark tent
