RV (Widescreen)

This is the best movie. All ages can enjoy this. We have watched this several times and always laugh each time watching. It's a classic. Buy this for your camper and when you don't have any cable/antennae connections, put this in. It makes camping on a rainy day or evening unwinding just perfect.

Such a fun movie!

Outrageously funny family road trip goes awry. Much like National Lampoon's Vacation series, what can go wrong will, and at the most inopportune moments. Robin Williams puts in a great performance as a dad who just wants to have a good time with his family, who are indignant at having to give up an anticipated Hawaiian vacation for a road trip from California to Colorado in an RV. Surprises abound from learning about needs to be done to make the RV work, to the people they meet on the way (some of whom are overly friendly and perhaps overly hospitable), to places they see, and unanticipated events around nearly every corner. This is a gem of a movie that I expect everyone will get a kick out of, and some will have bittersweet/poignant feelings watching Robin Williams heartwarming and sometimes angst-filled performances that seem to allow the viewer a vantage point or two into what he personally feels in several difficult family situations.

Anyone who has camped in an RV can relate to this movie. I love movies you can watch again and again and it's always just as funny.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this film going in to it. The story is simple enough but it really works. Robin Williams is obviously going to be a joy to watch (and he is) and Cheryl Hines is his perfect counterpart. The children were wonderfully cast. Who knew that singer (and now actress I guess) JoJo would be so great as daughter Cassie and Josh Hutchinson is just as fun to watch. The family is only the tip of the iceberg, the rest of the cast is great as well. The only nit-picky complaint I have is that some of the blue screen work is kind of fake-looking but it doesn't deter from the enjoyment. Still, it would have been better if shot for real. Bottom line: great movie. Enjoyable and rewatchable.

Received sooner than expected, and enjoyed seeing this again. Watched this on Netflix or Hulu a couple times. Robin Williams is so funny in this movie. Jeff Daniels is also good in every movie. Good for a laugh every now and then. Now I can watch it any time I need a good laugh.

I watched this movie about 5 years ago with my family and we all just loved it. So naturally when we purchased a rv this year the first thing we did was order this movie for our entertainment cabinet. The movie is just all around funny and makes me cherish my family even more each time I watch Robin Williams in the movie. Please take time to watch this movie, you won’t be disappointed!

We had so many laughs during the movie it was beyond description! Great movie. Great acting. 4 thumbs up for Robin Williams!
