I USE IT DAILY AND LOVE IT!
If you’re looking to upgrade from your computer’s built-in microphone without spending a fortune, the Blue Snowball iCE is a classic for a reason. Even as a renewed unit, it feels like a major step up in terms of clarity and professionalism. The cardioid pickup pattern is really effective at focusing on your voice and cutting out some of the ambient noise behind the mic, making it a great choice for hopping on Discord, recording a quick podcast, or just making sure you sound clear in work meetings. The build quality is surprisingly sturdy for a budget-friendly mic. It has that cool retro spherical design that looks great on a desk, and the black finish gives it a sleek, modern edge. Since it’s plug-and-play, you don't have to mess around with installing drivers; you just plug the USB cable into your Mac or PC and you’re ready to go. The included tripod stand is decent and gets the job done for a basic desktop setup, though it’s worth noting that it sits fairly low, so you might eventually want a boom arm if you prefer having the mic closer to your face. In terms of sound, it really shines in the midrange, which is exactly where most human voices live. While it doesn't have the fancy bells and whistles like a mute button or a gain knob—which you'd find on more expensive models—it keeps things simple and reliable. For a renewed item, it’s a smart way to get high-quality audio while being a bit more sustainable and budget-conscious. It’s a workhorse of a microphone that does the basics exceptionally well.

5 Stars – Perfect for Virtual Teaching!
I’m a virtual teacher and needed a reliable microphone—but everything I found was $70+. I was so hesitant to try the Snowball because of the price. It felt too affordable, and I worried it might be too good to be true. Spoiler alert: it’s NOT! It’s absolutely perfect. Crystal clear sound, easy to set up, and works flawlessly with my setup. I’ve had zero issues, and it honestly performs better than some of the more expensive mics I’ve tried. Don’t overthink it—this one’s a gem!

Great Budget Friendly Microphone
The Blue Snowball is a great microphone for someone who isn't looking to break the bank. The microphone is plug and play on windows without needing to install any drivers or software. It's a great microphone for those looking to game or stream with, with clear microphone input. My only issue is you are forced to set it up in a tripod style - an issue if you don't have much desk space. Aside from that, it's a fantastic microphone that get your money's worth.

best quality budget microphone
STILL one of the best budget microphones. It’s not streamer quality but if you dont want to sound like a potato and you’re on a budget, get this. Had one of these for 5 years and never had an issue. Bought another for my wife.

HARD NO !
I understand it is an old mic but it’s a hard pass for me my home boy recommended me to give this mic a try but it didn’t work out for me he probably had a system where he made the blue snowball sounded like a professional 200 mic but those add ons can be costly Aht aht we ain’t doing all that ! The snowball picks up any and everything in the background even close up if your feet is moving sound of a keyboard or any chair or body movement it’s picking up on that I even added a boom stick with a filter can’t even say the sound quality was getting better my online friends made a joke on me saying I was the loudest robot sounding person ever that’s how they knew it was me loool

Great sound quality for the price
I used this microphone through college zoom classes during the pandemic, and my professor (before learning my name) would call me "the one with the good mic". I still use it for discord calls and it works great. The only thing about it is, I use a boom stand and this microphone looks and weighs as much as a planet at the end of it 😂. As long as you keep a shorter stand, like the one provided, that shouldn't be an issue though.
