Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening - Nintendo Switch Standard Edition (European Version)

AMAZING Zelda game great for a beginner. I’ve never played a Zelda game before and I am a total wimp who jumps and runs when anything chases me. My family got me BOTW for Christmas and I wanted to play it, but it was all too scary. Link’s Awakening was the perfect way to get myself into the series without screaming and freaking out. The art style is cutesy and just not scary enough that I can tackle the enemies and bust my way through the story line. The plot is fantastic and has the classic elements of other Zelda games, and the map is more condensed and easy to follow with some areas to explore/multiple ways to get somewhere, but it doesn’t have the “wildly explore and empty areas between zones” that BOTW or other games have. The map is definitely condensed but it’s adorable and still large. I saw a lot of reviews say it was too easy, but this was perfect for me because it allowed me to ease myself into the franchise and it took me a solid three weeks to play through it. Now I’m moving on to BOTW and I’m able to play it without being too scared because of this game. Highly recommend.

At nearly 40 years old, I am definitely a huge part of the nintendo generation. Growing up nintendo means we've all played one, most or maybe all of the zelda games because Link is awesome. So the pro of this title is that its a beautiful remaster. I really don't think they could have made it any better. The con is the price. The sole reason to pay full price for this is you're either an old (or young) nintendo nerd like myself and you love the games or if you have a kid that has to have every aaa title on their switch. But I say just grab it. Its immediately addictive and the replay value is definitely there. Itd just be alot cooler at $30 but what can ya do? 🤷‍♂️

SPOILER!! The character you play as is named Link, not Zelda. This blew my daughter's mind even though I told her this several times before. The game is good, it can be challenging at times, but very fun.

Solid remake of a classic My only gripe is there are alot of frame drops throughout the game, but that is probably more the fault Nintendo refuses to make a powerful console Being that the original was on Gameboy, this is well worth a buy

My 6 and 8 year old nephews love this game! came fast, sealed as any video game purchased from a store would be. Great buy!

An excellent retelling and remastering of the original game that was released in 1993 for the Nintendo Gameboy with updated graphics, sound, music, and gameplay for the Nintendo Switch. I played and still have the original game, which was my first introduction to the Legend of Zelda series, and was excited when I found out Nintendo re-released this game for the Switch. It brought back great memories of completing the game when I was younger. Anyone who is a fan of the Legend of Zelda would definitely enjoy this side story in the series.
