JUST FOR MEN Touch of Gray, Salt & Pepper Look, Dark Brown T-45 (3 Pack)

LADIES, don't let the name fool you! This Is NOT Just For Men.... it works great for women as well and there's nothing on the market for us that easily covers the white crown that appears around temples and sides. I was tired of dying my hair and after three attempts to grow out my hair, I finally succeeded and stopped dying it. My hair was a very nice salt and pepper but mostly pepper. I love it and get a lot of compliments but I did not like the white crown that appeared from my ears and all the way up around my temples to my other ear. I was uncomfortable pulling my hair back because of the stark white border which made me feel older. My brother has been using Just For Men and suggested it to me to try. I just wanted to blend in this white crown to match the rest of my hair but since my hair is shoulder length I was concerned that I would see a distinct line where I stopped applying the dye or that it would just get darker and darker every time I applied it. BUT I had nothing to worry about! This stuff is amazing and flawless!! I don't know how they do it but it miraculously Blends in with no lines, no darkness or spots, You can't mess it up and it's so easy to apply. And I am the only one who knows that I've touched up my hair, which I do every 6-8 weeks. It Blends so flawlessly and easily. I know it sounds like I'm getting paid to write this review because I'm so impressed with this product but I can assure you that I didn't receive a dime. I am just totally impressed and happy with the results that I needed to let the ladies know that there is something out there for us and they should give it a try if they have the same problem that I do . Literally 5 minutes, as the package says, shampoo out and you're good to go. I LOVE IT!! So sorry men, but I think they should change the name. Because it's great for women also.. At one time there was something on the market called Grecian Formula for women but there's nothing currently available for women that works as good as this. Do not use the applicator! This tip is for men as well. I apply it with an old toothbrush and it's much easier and the tube last so much longer. And one last note....Just for Men sales is missing out on a huge Market! been using it for years works great. Takes enough coloring and loose enough grade to where it looks natural easy to use easy to apply.

I did my research before buying this product, and it's surprising there just aren't that many reviews of this stuff outside of Amazon. And here so many of the reviews are so happy and excited that I have to admit I was skeptical. This review won't be happy and excited, but I will say the product is pretty good. I have dark brown hair, with a decent amount of gray throughout, but still more brown than grey. So I bought the medium gray, since folks said to go at least a shade lighter. The first time I used it I put a decent amount on my hair, and ended up massaging it around with my hands-in-glove because the product applicator comb didn't seem to work so well with short hair. My hands worked fine. Oh, and yes, I put on a thick skin lotion around the perimeter of my hairline and it seemed to work, no spots on my face or neck. I was so slow in applying it that it clearly took more than 5 minutes. Still, when I finished and washed it out, and it dried, it was clear the gray was pretty much gone, and now turned a shade of lighter brown if you inspected it closely. I thought it looked good. And it certainly did not turn all my hair dark brown. But within a week I was noticing the gray hairs a lot more, even though they were still light brown, and by two weeks it seemed gray again. Hardly the 4-6 weeks people talk about. So the next time I tried it I applied more of the coloring than I did the first time. This time, I went even more slowly so the stuff stayed on a good long time. I think that this time the gray was darker than the first time. Keep in mind, while I have a lot of gray if you look up close, my dark hair still outnumbers my gray by a lot. So I can't say how shocking the difference would be for someone with more gray than dark. For me, the dye worked but was not a shocking difference, it wasn't too much. This time it lasted a good 2 weeks, and now when I look in the mirror the gray seems to be a very light brown, almost like highlights when looking close up. But you can see it, a lot of it, and I suspect in a few days it will start really looking gray again. Also, keep in mind that I've been washing my hair every other day to try to protect the color. And it still is noticeably gone in 2 weeks. Now, years ago I had asked my hair cutter how much it cost etc to try to get rid of the gray. She told me something like $60 a session, instead of the $20 I pay for a cut, and that I'd have to get it done every 6 weeks, because your hair grows and th new gray would show. So with this stuff I need to do it every 2 to 3 weeks instead of every 6. And I'm paying a lot less. Not a bad deal. Next time I'm going to use the dark brown version and see if that makes any difference in terms of the look, but also in terms of how long it takes before I notice a lot of the gray being a light brown and noticeable. What I did not find was that this darkened my hair too much. No way. And I left it on long past 5 minutes. But I have very dark brown hair, and more brown than gray. Maybe for others it would be a stark difference if they had a lot more gray. And even when I put a LOT on my hair the second time around, I still had a lot left in the tube - people are right, use it carefully and you'll easily get 3 uses out of one bottle with short guy's hair. I'll update this review after I try the darker color in the next week or so.

Works but subtle not obvious. I have some grey hairs not a ton but noticeable, this product works for blending those hairs in with the rest of the black hairs. I lost my hair in the middle of my head so this single box lasts for several applications for my hair. Just save the cheap gloves they give you or buy a box of disposable ones for future uses.

This is a very good product that really works. I have oily, thin, light brown hair with a significant amount of gray. Unlike regular hair color that is a two-part system, this is a one-part system that starts to work the second it is exposed to the air. It will only active and work for 5 minutes, so as long as you don't add more to the same section you already covered, it will stop at a set amount of darkness and get no darker no matter how long you leave it on. I have used it twice so far- both times I squirted it on a real comb instead of using the included comb/tube dispenser. It get gets very dark looking on your hair after just a short time, don't freak out, almost all of it goes away in the shower. Caution- the product will stain skin a little, so if you get it on your non-scalp skin, wipe it off with a wet rag quickly. The results are very natural looking. It doesn't fade as quickly as I thought it would- perhaps 25 to 33% after 6 weeks (of course I wash daily). So the second time I used it, it ended up darker than I probably want. Next time I will have to wait to 8 or more weeks. It contains a large tube- and instructions that you should throw away the unused product (because oxygen will get in it and ruin it). But if you expel some product and cap the tube quickly/tightly, it will last a very long time (I put it in the refrigerator too, to slow any reaction). There is enough in the tube for one application for someone with longer thick hair, two applications for medium hair, and even three for short thin hair. As long as it comes out of the tube as a honey color, it is good. If it comes out dark, it is ruined because it has already activated (and it will just not dye your hair). They have changed the packaging several times. They key is you want "T25" as the color, with no other number. If you have light hair DO NOT USE THE PACKAGE that claims to be "Light/Medium Brown" which is something they went through when trying to combine the two. The Light Brown is dark enough!!!!! You have been warned :) Of the four boxes I was sent in this Amazon order, there were three variations (but all were T25)! And none of them matched the variation from the store (my first package). I will attach a photo (the far right one was from Walgreens, the two on the left were two of the three variants sent through Amazon order).

I have been using Touch of Gray Dark Brown for more than 10 years and have purchased it exclusively through Amazon for approximately the last five years. Unfortunately, over the past year, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of the product I have received. The dye now seems much more diluted, and the mixture is no longer as homogeneous as it used to be. Previously, one application was enough to significantly cover my gray hair, and leaving it on for a little longer, around 10 - 15 plus minutes, would provide even better coverage. Now, even after leaving it on for 20 plus minutes, very little changes and much of the gray remains. The color itself is also noticeably different. What is labeled Dark Brown now produces a much lighter, almost blondish/light-brown color compared with what I received for many years. Because I was subscribed to receive three boxes at a time, I initially thought I had simply received a bad batch. However, I received three separate shipments, nine boxes in total, and tried boxes from multiple shipments with the same disappointing results. I still have seven boxes that I cannot use. After more than a decade as a loyal customer, I finally canceled my subscription. Whether these units are old, improperly stored, from defective batches, or there has been some other quality-control issue, I cannot say. I can only say that the product I have received recently is dramatically different from the Touch of Gray Dark Brown I used successfully for years. I will now purchase it locally so I can better control where the product is coming from. It is extremely disappointing to lose confidence in a product after relying on it for more than 10 years.

I'm 54 and 75% gray. I wanted to get back to 50/50 salt & pepper so it wouldn't be a shock, but definitely no Lego head. This was perfect. I applied after a haircut. I used about half a tube. after washing it out, I thought it did nothing. after one day, it was just barely noticeable, but after about 3-4 days it gradually darkens some of the hairs and now it's perfect. I have no idea what the black magic is behind it. It looks and feels very natural. Nobody said a word, but when I ask my friends, they say yeah,I guess now that you mention it, it's a bit darker. But for me I know it's exactly what I want. No drastic shock. it's like I rolled it back 5 years. highly recommend!

The short-term result is actually quite good. My issue with this product is that after only two weeks or so, your hair starts to change color, like towards orangey shade of color.

Horrible producto, mi padre lo compro para poder tintarse el pelo y le irrito toda la cabeza a las horas, tuvo que lavarse varias veces el pelo para relajarse la picazon. Además, ahora se ve verde marroón el color. Terrible, no lo recomendaria nadie.
