Recommended by my physical therapist.
These bell tips were recommended to me by my physical therapist. She said they would provide more stability. They work great and yes, they provide a more stable contact with the road or sidewalk. I would recommend them for anyone who uses the poles for physical therapy or who is a senior.

Best for seniors using walking sticks
My doctor advised me to stop using a single cane because I was hurting my shoulder. He advised me to use two walking canes but the tips were so small. These tips are perfect. Their bell-shaped nice and flat stable and they don't make you feel like you're not in control of your basic movements. I recommend them highly

Fits other brands of trekking poles
I was able to use these on a different trekking pole, thankfully. This was the main reason I got these, I needed new tips and I liked the idea of a bigger tip for stability. I have used trekking poles while walking instead of a cane.The bigger tip provides less chance of your pole slipping out from under you. I walk short trails as well and they do great. Trekking poles help keep me standing straight and when going up a hill it helps to pull your self up it. I would buy them again.

These fit my walking sticks!
I have a pair of walking (Amazon) which I use for support of my spine while walking (canes hurt my hand due to arthritis). Although I do not have Nordic walking sticks, they fit mine great! I feel more stable and therefore safer. They make a difference for me!

Order Description
On the order it says 2 pairs of Poling tips (1 pair = 2 tips) I received only one pair of tips. I am confused if the maufactors means 2 pairs = 2 tips???. Please clarify
