Pantone, can't live with them, can't live without them. MAJOR ERROR
Being in the field of design, it's impossible to get work done without referencing a Pantone. While their selection of color is good and unquestionably the standard, this fan book, and their inconsistent approach to numbering is difficult—to say the least. First, the major error I've noticed. One of the newer colors 1235, which has is in the fan book on page 9, does not appear in the glossary. No pages are missing, but if you don't know how to chromatically search for the color, I would have been out of luck. Forget quickly searching by number, if you don't have the entire family memorized, there is no way to easily flip to a color based on a number. Please take some time to QA your books and please, think about a newer way to organize the colors. Maybe even sell a chromatic version and numbered version, I'd even pay for both if there weren't errors like this! I expect more from the industry standard.

Overpriced but quite helpful
These should not cost this much. Regardless though, they have been very helpful

Good but be aware of the hex values
singjipie's review was really helpful. In fact I was curious to why the hex values are so different. In fact I email Pantone and asked why the color bridge and Pantone connect are different. So, here is straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. "We publish the RGB/Hex values for the Pantone colors on our website and software programs as well as in our physical Pantone Color Bridge guides. The values published on our website/software are based on M2 measurement conditions where the values in the physical guide are M1. These measurement conditions (M0, M1, M2 and M3) are standards and guidelines for how values are calculated based on optical brightening agents (OBAs) found in substrates due to how UV light affects these OBAs in measurement. In terms of simple explanation: M1: Standardizes the UV light during measurement to control effect of OBAs in paper. M2: Filters out (or cuts) the effect of OBAs. The two different standards are used in different use cases. We publish the M1 values in the physical Color Bridge guides as this is our printed guide and the values that printers would be using as it is industry standard. Design programs such as Adobe, use M2 which removes the effects of OBAs from measurement. This is used in these design programs as typically a designer would not be aware of what type of paper or material is being printed on and whether this is effected by OBAs hence the values are based on removing or cutting the effects of OBAs. " So that is why the hex codes are different. I really hope this helps someone. After knowing this, is would probably just get Pantone Connect. Plus the paper quality is flimsy especially for the price. And people shouldn't have to dig to find this information or find out after they buy the color bridge that it doesn't meet their needs. So I knocked a star off. Other than that do your research and make sure this product fit your needs worthy of investing. Granted they don't last forever they do fade and have to be replace so buyer beware.

Inaccurate coloring and missing colors
I bought this look at 802 c 360 c post process blue c all of which were missing. It did have 7488c but the display color printed didn't even remotely match the RGB values. Another major issue missing all page numbers the index is useless. The colors are not organized by pantone color and is overall hard to navigate it should be a binder.

Es handelt sich um das Originalprodukt, gute Qualität und Verpackung. Leider keine Tasche dabei. Unentbehrliches Werkzeug für den Grafiker.

I personally believe Pantone books are way overpriced but designers have no choice when we need them for our work. These books arrived on time, in great condition and are serving me well everyday.

Fast delivery, arrived in perfect condition. This is a great investment if you are a graphic designer working on the print side.

Unfortunately the two uncoated guides we received (original order and replacement) but had the issue where some of the colors were not properly printed, see included pictures which are from two separate guides. Dark dots all over some of the printed color sets. My guess is that the prints where not dried properly and came against other colors but who knows... anyhow the printing errors make it difficult to see what colors are meant to look like which defeats the point of having a color guide. Possibly we were unlucky and just happened to get two guides from a bad batch. I will order this a third time and hope that everything is as it should be. Luckily returns with Amazon are not an issue, I do wish the Pantone guide would have not had these problems. The paper used for the guides is a bit on the thin side but I can live with that, the printing problems I cannot. UPDATE: Third set ordered had the same problem... Therefore if you order this I you wish the best of luck and make sure all the colors are printed properly. Might try to order this again at some point but it seems incredible to me to see a Pantone guide with these issues and lack of quality control.

The stock they are printed on is thin and is not at all durable, the printing is not properly aligned either. The packaging is terrible compared to the normal pantone books which come in a sturdy box with a lid, these come in a thin flimsy box no better than a cereal box.
