Dshot Automatic Pizza Dough Roller Sheeter Machine, Making 6-16 inch Dough, Food Preparation Equipment

I was searching for weeks and contemplating where and which roller to purchase. I own an Italian Restaurant in NJ with a brick oven pizza and we sell a good amount of pies. After seeing the grand poobah of rollers at Danny Myers in the City (Marta / Doylan Rollers $3,600) I knew it wasn't going to be cheap to get something of value. I almost bought on Webstaurant until I saw the shipping charge. Immediately I visited Amazon again and went for this product. It almost matched the description of the Doylan and almost a 3rd of the price. Not so long story short, we love it! Game changer!! Quality machine that works just the way it's supposed to. My kitchen staff got hooked right away. It cuts the dough prep time in less then half and the pizza comes out that much better. When the morale is high the finished product is that much better. With the love that we have with this machine which we consider half a person now. Our ticket time has improved greatly. Very much recommended !!!

Staff is happy they don't have to hand roll pie crust now. We had to tweak recipe for moisture content. This machine is well made and works well. We take the oblong shaped output and splice it into pie rounds...which is much much faster than hand rolling. Crust bakes better because of less handling. It's not a space hog either. If you do lots of hand rolling, this is a great step forward at a great price. You can spend lots more on sheeters but this really is a surprisingly good machine.

This might be ok for fondant or clay applications, but it is nowhere near sturdy enough for pizza bread doughs.

It's great when it works but it will stop working for what seems like no reason. There is a safety protocol built in to the system which causes the sheeter to freeze. I appreciate the protocol for safety reasons but it happens way too often. We are still working on it to try to figure out what it is we could possibly be doing to make this happen so often. When it works, it works great. We love it

I only gave a 4 because I have not used it consistently yet, so I can't speak to its long-term durability when used at 100% capacity. However, I have done enough with it to say its reliable and easy to operate and clean.

It rolls out dough in 5 seconds without getting stuck in the rollers (as long as the dough and machine are floured. I spent 1 hour on a Doyon and all the dough did was get stuck. First try on this machine and it came out smooth. There's a metal plate on the back of the bottom roller to help prevent it from getting stuck. The only negative is the straight up design, but compared to a $3000 horizontal model, it's worth saving two grand. it saves on counter space, but I have to be really quick to catch and turn the dough. Also, it weighs like 75 to 100 lbs., really heavy. I wouldn't want to move it on a daily basis.
