I've been baking a lot of bread, and it made me realize how terrible my old bread knife was. I have a chef knife from this brand and love it, so I bought myself this bread knife, and all I can say is WOW! The quality is exactly what I was expecting from Zwilling: - the blade is super sturdy and sharp - the blade and handle both feel high quality, and they're balanced perfectly - the blade length is perfect for my knife holder and for cutting through breads of all sizes It tackles my crusty sourdough loaves with beautiful, clean cuts. I used it on a focaccia and had to get video because I was so impressed with how quick and smooth the cuts are (it always took a lot of sawing to get through focaccia with my old knife). It barely took two swipes to get through the focaccia, and it left no crumbs. If you're making beautiful breads, a good bread knife is a must, and this knife fits the bill. It's the perfect addition to my bread making hobby!

First time I used this knife I loved it had a knife that cut good but this knife cuts great. Feels great in my hand very comfortable easy to hold with my arthritic hand. now have to see how long it stays sharp but I am believing it will for a long time seems great quality and great price.

Great knife and very sharp and handles well

This knife was given as a gift to my mom, who turned 85, and she loves it! The handle fits perfectly in your hand and cuts loaves of bread perfectly whether thin or thick slices. It is very well made and I'm giving it ten stars!

Like all new knives, this one was very sharp and cut right through crusty bread with ease. We were looking for a serrated blade that was like a saw but those seem to be either way too expensive or not carried by Amazon. The last one we had cost $6 and cut everything well for over 15 year before the 1" tine finally came out of the handle. Other wavy edge knives we've had like this one eventually dull and are nearly impossible to resharpen. If you cannot get a saw edge blade, my advice is to spend as little as you have to on this style. UPDATE: After many years this knife still cuts bread with ease. Turned out to be an excellent investment.

This knife is well made as always I used it to cut bread and veggies eat I own a few pie es of ZWILLING products and love them They also have lifetime warranty.

It was hard for me to spend this much on one knife, but I was tired of hacking away at homemade bread with our old, dull bread knife. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long! This knife cuts any kind of bread so easily - both the soft kind that the dull knife would tear into crumbs, and the heavy, dense sourdough that the old knife would get through only with a lot of muscle and sawing. I know Zwilling makes much more expensive knives than this, and I'm glad they have this one that is more affordable, while still being a great knife!

Good sharp knife that cuts my soft matcha milk bread perfectly.

This knife was an xmas gift for someone who likes the Henkel brand - was very happy to receive - tested on the day but time will tell if it keeps its sharpness. Seems very sturdy and well made.
