Solid Harp with a Fresh Sound
Lee Oskar's are simply reliable. They have good sound and long lasting design. The plastic combs really hold up and are much easier to keep clean comparted to wood combs. The price is very good for a serious harp. But the coolest thing are the variety of tunings you can get. This Melody Maker is wonderful for really different chords for minor keys. Friends keep asking me, How are you playing that chord on a harp?!"

Plays well, but I haven't found it's place yet
This harp is supposed to be for playing melodies in Cross harp (2nd position). It is tuned similar to a regular G diatonic, but replaces the D at blow 3 with an E. This is useful. It messes up blues chords, but lets you easily play an E note rather than having to bend the 3 draw down a whole step. But they tune the 5 draw up a half step to C#. I don't like that at all. I use the 5 draw flatted 7th note all the time, and now it isn't there. This harp will work if you're doing a tune in D-major and it isn't bluesy, but I play blues and a lot of stuff in minor keys. Doesn't do it for me. If that 5 draw was a C, I'd probably love this harp, but the C# ruins it for me.

Very nice harmonica but....
It's a great harmonica except one note doesn't draw right having kind of dull sound. Someone said send it back. I'm sick of sending things back. Why can't companies just get it right the first time. Quality control doesn't exist anymore?

Comfortable to play
Sound good. A bit harder to play high note. But for me it's easier to hold it and play then the hohner special 20.
