Does exactly what it says it does
Quite impressed with it to be honest. Done an amazing job on my water rowing machine. It is now algae free!

I used this to clear the water tank on a WaterRower rowing machine. I misread the instructions for the machine (did not add the requisite water purification tablet in a timely fashion). Algae had grown in the tank but after adding 1/4 cup of the APE PondCare the algae disappeared in a few days. I did change the water before treatment. Now I add the recommended water purification tablets and the water is crystal clear once more. This stuff works.

Guys all I can say is USE ALL THE API PRODUCTS. I wish I had been using this combo all along!!! I had been using the API "algaefix" for like 2 years. While that stuff Will help kill off floating "green pea soup", it cant entirely get rid of it on its own. This meant if I wasnt cleaning the sludge off my filters every other day, I still had pea soup and was extremely upset. I knew I had pretty fish but I couldnt see them! Enter allll the other API products. I now use This as well as the pond-zyme sludge destroyer AND the API ECOFIX sludge destroyer (all on different days). My 1300 gallon pond finally became clear and has STAYED clear. I am constantly so happy I could almost cry. I can see my 6 large koi all the way down to the bottom of our 4 foot deep pond 💜💜🐟

I use this product once a week in a 12,000 gal. Koi pond. It takes 5 1/2 C. Per treatment so a little pricey but any other products would be the same. So far, this has kept the water beautifully clear but we'll have to see if it continues to work in the hot Texas sun. This co. Gives free shipping but built into product cost. They are very quick in shipping and packaging is good for liquids. Never have had a spill.

This is not an algae killer but a special bacteria that feed on the type of algae that float in the water making water look green and opaque. I tried it in my 16,500 gallon pond for the last month, and as long as you keep adding it, the pea soup stays away. It has no effect on the algae like string algae or the stuff that sticks to the liner of the pond. Used with koi, goldfish and tadpoles and there is no problem. Don't forget to turn off your UV or it will kill the bacteria and prevent it from working.
