I have gone through a couple different door protectors to prevent my huskies from scratching up the door interior of my F250. The protectors are for the back seats of the crewcab. Until I tried this protector, none of the others stayed in place while on trips longer than 10 minutes. The ones that failed had flat plastic tabs that inserted between the door panel and the window. Those tabs would always get pulled out by the dogs stepping up to the open window. However, this product has a locking mechanism that helps hold the plastic tabs in place. It has actually worked well and has not pulled out on multiple trips with the dogs. I did not use the optional adhesive tabs, nor use the velcro tabs to hold the bottom of the protector. I have not tried to remove the protectors as yet; but have had them in place for the last couple months and have not seen any issues with scratching by operating the windows, nor scratches from the dog nails on the door panel. I am buying another set so I have a another protector to install in the front passenger seat since one of my dogs insists riding "shotgun". Aside from that, I think I recall one reviewer complain that the tabs did not fit. Initially it looked like it would be too tight to fit my window spacing. But I if you use something thin and flat like a credit card to open the spacing in the door window groove slightly below the edge the tab, the tabs then slid right in.

These are fantastic. I've used other brands before, but these are perfect for my Bronco Sport. They cover the entire door. The tabs are large enough, and have extra bite, to remain in place. The Velcro stays in place, and you won't have any marks on the door once you peel off the back of that Velcro. The black color compliments my interior. My dog's nails have not damaged it, nor have the covers come off when pawed. The seller is equally fantastic - quick shipping. I highly recommend this door kit.

These car door protectors seem to be well made and I think they will do the job of protecting the doors from slobber & scratches. They seem durable but I only gave 4 stars because I haven't had them long enough to know yet. I took a star off "easy to install" because, although they are easy to install. as noted in some other reviews, they don't stay completely in place when you open the windows. I haven't had the experience of them coming all the way out but, I keep an eye on them when I open the windows. The velcro on the bottom is a good idea. As with any accessory that is not generic to the car, you can't expect a perfect fit. The price is good and I think they'll do the job :-)

These fit my BMW 545i and have stayed on without issue, with my dog standing on the door rest and putting her head out the window. She is actively curious and likes to look out the side and the front window, so she’s back and forth a lot. I did not use the Velcro to attach the bottom and it just hangs which works fine. Mostly driving highway speeds not freeway. The most important thing for me while looking for a product like this, was if it would scratch my tinted windows. No, it has not scratched my windows and it stays put with the window going up and down constantly, to keep her from being reactive, when parked in certain situations, or when I am driving at higher speeds. I’ll note that my window are not aftermarket tinted they are factory tinted. It fits in the window well. It’s doing exactly what I needed it to do. Now I need to clean my car and doors because it’s a mess lol. I tried to include pictures of the shape of my door as I wanted to find one that also had the same upward curve as my door. So it wouldn’t hang over the seat, with the door closed like the more square or rectangular door protectors would. I also didn’t want a pocket for her nails or foot to get snagged in. It works great and it what I needed. Wish I had found it sooner because I do have some door scratches on the leather. I do recommend taking measurements of your door as I did, to ensure the proper length and width. I have a small window where there is no well space to put the foot into but it is a very short amount, 2” or so and makes no difference in it staying put. The feet you will attach to the cover by Velcro, prior to inserting the feet into the window well, the instructions are clear in assembly and installation. I did have my doubts about the Velcro feet coming off but they haven’t once and I purchased this 12/18/2023, it’s now 2/1/2024. The feet attaching to the cover by Velcro was not clear in the listing so I wanted to add that part but it works just fine and doesn’t pull off with her activity. I wanted to give it time/use before leaving a review and I am happy with this purchase and its functionality for the past 45 days of continuous use.

Didn't fit in the windows of my 2025 Acadia?

These were great bought these as a gift. the part that goes into where the window is, is super sturdy, I loved that.

I’d give zero stars if I could. It would even fit. And those brackets aren’t spaced out like the picture. They are all 3 together so it doesn’t even stay secure. One side went in easily and the other side won’t go in at all. Poor quality!

I read the reviews and was still a little skeptical, but took a chance and purchased and let me say….. BUY THESE! There are a durable material so your dog’s nails won’t rip them and they stay in the window. Installation was a breeze too. Had them both installed in about 10 minutes. I have tinted windows in a 2018 Jeep GC, and these work great and don’t damage the tinting. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The Eyelets you see in my photos don’t come with these, I bought an eyelet kit at Home Depot for like $7 and punched the holes in myself so they rest smooth around the door locks. The only “negative” I’ve found (and I say that loosely because they provide a solution, I just choose not to use it) is they come with Velcro to hold the bottom of the protector flush to the door which I don’t want to install on my doors. So at highway speed with the windows down, they do tend to fly up. I just shut the windows and use the AC on Interstates. Driving around town at lower speeds they’re fine tho and hang flat against the door. Since 80% of my driving is around town, my two dogs can each stick their heads out the window and I don’t have to worry about my doors getting damaged.

Excelente para Mazda cx30, por fin Lucas puede asomarse por la ventana sin rayar las puertas, va feliz y yo más de verlo contento!! Solo el último broche de la orilla, donde baja completamente la ventana se sale, ya q las ventanas no bajan parejas, pero no hay problema, la vuelves a meter y listo! Ayer perdimos una pero lo bueno es q trae repuestos!! Otra cosa, no lastima las ventanas ni la tinta de las ventanas, no raya!! Excelente producto!!

Quality product well manufacturered for the job it has to do

Quite possibly one of the worst products I’ve ever bought off Amazon. Firstly the window slides that secure it into the door are not “sewn in” to the cover as implied. They simply slide onto the fabric. There is also only 6 attachments, not 8 as shown in the pictures. When it arrived one of them was detached & clearly damaged. When I attached the 2 covers they actually fitted quite well. I thought I’d try putting the window down & 4 of the 5 window slides came off the cover & I spent the next 20 minutes carefully removing them from inside the doors. Absolutely rubbish product!!

Protects or headrest when our slobber Saint Bernard rests his head on the headrest. Lol 😂 easy to remove and throw into the wash. Game changer!!! Highly recommend!!!
