Easy to use
If you're afraid to try tampons don't be. It has made my periods a less dreadful experience because it is so much more comfortable than a pad. Once you put it in you almost forget you're on your period.I use the super flow tampons on the first two days and average flow after that. You'll need to be careful and change it frequently to avoid leakage and staining. It is a much better alternative to pads, although menstrual cups are probably the best for the environment. The best part about tampons is that it makes your period shorter by one or two days.

Good product
It's a good product, a great alternative for menstrual protection and much more comfortable than sanitary pads(once you get the hang of using it). If you are using it for the first time, it will take you a couple of tries to understand how to use it; not to mention it will be a bit uncomfortable - mild painful in inserting it first few times, but after using it few times, you won't want to go back to using sanitary pads again.Pros:-1. Less messy than sanitary pads - There is little to no chance of leakage, unless you leave it in for a long time. It's not meant to be used for more than 8 hours if you are having regular flow, not heavy.2. Very comfortable - Sanitary pads sometimes cause rashes. This does not happen in tampons. Also you can hardly feel the tampon once it's inside your body, provided it is inserted properly. If you feel uncomfortable during sitting, it means the tampon hasn't been inserted far enough and you need to push it further in. Best way to check if it's okay or not, is to bend and touch your toes after inserting it, if you can't feel it at all, then it's in the right place.3. Same cost as sanitary pads (depends on brand) - If you are like most girls, you must be using Stayfree sanitary pads. OB Tampons are a bit higher priced than Stayfree pads, but it comes to the same, because tampons shorten the period by 1 day, so you end up using it for lesser amount of time.Cons:-1. Cannot wear more than 8 hours - A tampon shouldn't be worn for more than 8 hours due to the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome. The chances of it causing TSS is still less, even if you leave it in for more than 8 hours, but it's probably not a good idea to do so, since the risk of vaginal infections is always there. You can leave it in overnight, provided you don't sleep for more than 8 hours.2. Uncomfortable in the beginning - For me, it was quite painful the first 2-3 times I used it, and I assume it will be so for all girls who are using it for the first time. Also, it is slightly painful to remove it if your flow is very light and the tampon isn't soaked enough.3. The whole string system is a bit risky - I have always been paranoid about one thing. What if the string breaks? How will I get it out? Of course, a tampon can't exactly get lost in the body, since it simply won't go up after a certain distance, and the opening of the cervix is too small. But still it would be a panic-causing predicament if the string breaks.Despite all it's cons, I still think for me, it wins over sanitary pads.

Awesome product
I am using this product from past three years now. I feel so light. Learn and enjoy. Do u even know the reason why we feel mentrual pain? It's because when the blood lining tears and bloods start to flow from uterus to vagina. So if a tampon is placed inside, blood will travel less. Less distance blood to cover, lesser the pain. Keep changing tampon every four hours and enjoy running, sleeping, swimming or any physical activity you are involved in. Please make sure that u insert the tampon right inside the vagina. Every girl has different orientation of vagina so how to place the tampon also varies. You can also try using menstrual cups. I am a big fan of menstrual cup. It depends on the convinience also. I hope this helps:)
