Great sound and Connectivity!
I’ve recently purchased the Majority Fitzwilliam Connect Amp and so far it has completely exceeded my expectations on every front. Right out of the box, getting everything configured was exceptionally quick, easy and intuitive with the set up wizard. The menus are straightforward to navigate so I was tuned in and listening to music within just a few minutes without any headaches. The dedicated Spotify Connect integration is a huge standout feature for me, it connects instantly and streams reliably without dropouts. On top of that, having access to hundreds of Internet radio stations as well as a full range of DAB channels means there is always something great to listen to, no matter what genre or mood you’re in.What impresses me most though has been the audio performance. For such a slender and compact amplifier the sound output is remarkably crisp, clear and detailed. It helps fill the room effortlessly without taking up unnecessary space on the rack. If you're looking for a versatile amp with top tier connectivity and fantastic sound, this is an absolute winner for the money. Highly recommended!

Ticks all the right boxes!
The bottom line is that I love this product! It is the perfect blend of old and new. I still have a heart for FM radio and my CD collection. This product lets me use both. The internet radio and bluetooth streaming functions are awesome. Both were easy to set up for this 61 year old semi-techie person. This player has been in almost continuous use over the last two days since I got it. I already had some bookcase passive speakers so this AMP unit made it possible for me to use them. They sound great and more undistorted volume than I could ever need. Hard to believe they got all these functions in one nice looking unit. Using the app on my phone is a nice bonus!Anyway, I seldom get something that has brought me as much satisfaction as this unit. Well done folks! If I had to buy a CD Player, FM Radio, DAB+ Radio, Music Streamer and Bluetooth Receiver all separately I'd be broke. I find this unit great value. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic cd hifi unit!
This item is really fantastic!I’ve had a great time testing out its features.I really like how easy it is to set up your Spotify, and tells your track listings and artist.I’ve connected my vinyl record player to this, and provides a beautiful sound; out of some basicish speakers.I got this version for the CD player, as I still collect CDS, the sound is perfect from this. The only thing I’ve noticed early on, is the CDs I’ve tired there is no track information of what you’re listening to.There is a remote control, which is really easy to use.The radio is really good, and it also has internet radio, so you can pretty much listen to anything. The quality of the build is really good, it reminds me of the older days of how things were built. The only thing that could make better, would be more outputs. There’s lots of inputs, like optical, phono aux, but you can only output in red and white cables. It would be good, if it had a bit more support for Apple or Amazon music, you can connect to it via Bluetooth but doesn’t not have the same look like Spotify does on it.Overall a fantastic purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for, brilliant unit!
So pleased with this! 🎵I didn’t want a whole big hi-fi stack and this is perfect, all in one neat unit.CD player works perfectly, DAB radio picks up loads of stations, and Bluetooth connects straight to my phone no bother at all. Sound is really clear too.Wasn’t sure about the internet radio side but it was dead easy to set up. Remote is handy, and it looks really smart sitting on the shelf. You do need speakers to go with it which I knew, but that’s no hassle.Would definitely recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my media system
I grabbed this on prime day for £101 and WOW am I glad I picked this up. It’s totally elevated my hifi system and modernised it. Absolutely quick and easy to set up and tune. Absolutely no tuning issues with dab and as everything is internet radio these days and for ease of use it’s just miles above other formats. Spotify connect is amazing and convenient plus the UNDOK app takes this whole thing to another level. It looks so nice and expensive in the silver colour and matches my turntable well. The remote is well designed and easy to use. The whole system is easy to navigate. I can’t fault this item one bit.

Making CDs Great Again
Over the last ten years, like most people my music consumption has switched over to digital subscriptions and collecting vinyl, meaning I have shelves of CDs that haven't been played in ages. However the Majority Fitzwilliam is a gamechanger. Finally I have a good reason to dust off the jewel cases and play some classic albums!First thing to note is the design - it's sleek and minimal, encompassing a modern take with a hint of 90s nostalgia. Controls and dials all feel robust and the build quality and attention to detail seems great, right down to the Eject and Close action of the CD tray, super smooth. Its sits nicely on my audio unit alongside my vinyl turntable and amp, and is aesthetically eye catching.Audio wise, the sound is crisp (I connected via auxiliary to my Stanmore III) and cranked the volume up nicely with no breaks or crackles in the output. It offers a few different EQ presets for rock, pop, etc. plus a custom EQ feature. In terms of controls, as well as the front control panel you get a standard remote, but it's also possible to use the OKTIV mobile app to control radio, adjust volume - easy to use as a disabled person. The player comes with a comprehensive instruction booklet which helped me get set up and connected to the internet in no time, which is great as it supports Spotify and Internet Radio. It also has both FM and DAB radio, which is great for cranking out 6Music on a Saturday morning whilst having breakfast. An auxiliary cable is also provided to help connect to external speakers.Overall I love it - a great little unit which has revitalised interest in my CD collection, every time I look at it it makes me want to dig out some classics!

A Multi Media unit that covers most people's needs
Unfortunately my much loved Mitchell & Johnson DR201V tuner packed up, so whilst awaiting a replacement I dug out my old A&R T21 FM tuner as a temporary fix. I started looking for a worthwhile replacement and found Richer Sounds had your Fitzwilliam 2024 which seemed to have everything I needed. I must admit, as a bit of a Hi-Fi nut, I'd never heard of the Majority brand but I figured if RS stocked it - it must be good. The problem is: I'm in Bude and the nearest RS is in Exeter some 55 miles away! So I looked on Amazon and found it there. I hummed and haahd for a few weeks and then Amazon sent me an email suggesting a few things I might like, and one was the Fitzwilliam 2024 at £129.95 - it was a bargain at £149.95, so at this new price it was a steal! So I ordered it on Prime and set it up over the Bank Holiday week-end.So: it is a bit early to be definitive but first impressions are good. The Internet Radio is good and the set-up is similar to my Roberts Stream 94L, so no problem in getting things going. Similar with DAB+ and FM, though to be truthful the inbuilt Antenna Aerial does not cut the mustard. My other negative comment is the small Instruction Manual - which for my 84 year old eyes is a pain to read! So I did a scan of the QR code and then enlarged the manual so I could read it. I then asked Copilot to find a couple of answers to questions that I had which I couldn't find the answer to. It may be that they should consider adding these to their manual. The first was whether I could replace this silly Antenna with an external roof aerial I had. The answer, of course, was "yes" but it mistook the aerial connection as a standard TV type male. When I undid the Antenna, I discovered it was what I would call a Sky type connection - which was not a problem as I had a Vivanco connector from my M&J (which took a standard male connector) so I could add the external roof DAB and FM aerials. This vastly improved the range and quality of DAB stations - FM was more of a problem but had most of the ones I needed. They might like to consider putting this in the manual.I found the included remote tricky for (again) my 84 year old hands, so as I already had Undok on my iPad (which I used when setting up my Stream 94L). I used this to set things up and browse and save pre-sets. Again, I think they should make more of this rather than hide it away. Whilst on the subject of pre-sets, I asked Co-pilot how many there were. It didn't seem to know. So Undok to the rescue! It showed 40 pre-sets - not in total but 40 for each mode! (rather pointless on FM but still). Again, I think they should make more of this facility. MY M&J only had 10 and it was fiddly to go from 1-5 to 6-10, so this - using Undok was a doddle. The listening experience so far has been good. I use it through a NAD amplifier into Linn Kann speakers in my second system and would be keen to try it in my main Quad 600 system in my main "Entertainment Room". I assume if I unplug it and move it upstairs to this system it will retain everything in its memory - should do as I have moved my Roberts stream around the house before I bought an external battery and everything worked fine.So all in all, a pleasurable experience. I think anyone looking for a combined unit covering all six areas that will fit in with their existing separates system would be pleased with this and won't be disappointed at the quality for the price which I see is now back up to £148.85 or so.

Exactly what it says on the tin and more
Great bit of kit this. I got the cd player version as I still use CDs. Extremely easy to set up and it has a ton of things I like. Spotify is easy to set up and will have you playing your music in seconds and it's great to have DAB and internet radio - so many options!!The item itself looks like a real premium product, I got the black version and it looks great. Finally it has Bluetooth and you can also plug in your mp3s if that's your thing however it's a long time since I had mp3sIf I have one gripe, and it's not really a gripe, is that it would be great if it could Bluetooth to external speakers. But that's minor because if you're buying this you likely have speakers already to use with it.
