Makita E-00038 Impactx 100 Pc. Driver Bit Set

My travel trailer has several different types of screws. I like to be prepared to do repairs when needed. This kit comes with several assorted bits that should cover everything my trailer has. I have used the kit at my house and it worked well. The bits appear to be well made and good quality. The bits are divided into two plastic cases. I would have preferred one case containing all bits. If the cases could connect to each other that would also be fine. The bits can be a little tough to remove from the holders but not to tough. I prefer using Dewalt tools but i can't complain about Makita brand. I am happy with my purchase.

Absolutely love the bits and the cases. After going through cases from Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Kobalt, and I dont even know which else, I settled on these. The bits fit everything without issue which I had problems with with Milwaukee and Ryobi most notably. The cases are also extremely clean. The only thing of note is that if you like the stacking system of things that seems to be prevalent, these will be lacking to you. Otherwise, an excellent product from Makita.

Let's get this out of the way... if you're reading the reviews you'll know not to use the extension with the 2" power bits. It says that right on the back of the package. I haven't tested it, but most likely you already have an extension you like anyway. So don't use the extension if you're worried but haven't had any small bits get stuck yet and it definitely offers a tighter fit than others. I could definitely see it being an issue, but i already have probably 10+ magnetic extensions lying around. I've been collecting a lot of these impact bits lately from different manufacturers because for some reason impact bits have been having fire sale prices lately and you can never have too many. Bosch, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Kobalt. Most of the others with the black coating were very dissapointing so I was weary. They would chip and cam out pretty quickly causing me to ruin pieces I had precision cut for my needs so I was weary. Dewalt's grey bits were my go-to up until now, but Makita has definitely impressed me way more with this selection. Definitely the most durable black oxide coating of any of the manufacturers, particularly on the 2" power bits. The power bits are particularly impressive and seem to be of a higher quality than the smaller ones. The best part though... it's not a huge selection of bits you won't need! I count a whopping 13 square2 bits, 14 t25 bits, TWENTY TWO standard Phillips bits. Plus multiples of the t20s and ph1's and 3's and other square sizes you might run into. The set is very proportional to how often you'll run into the particular bit you'll need, so you won't find yourself using a t20 to drive t25s because you lost all your damn t25s again. Love this set!

Excellent quality, very comprehensive

Good set for the money used it once on a railing job to tap in some metal to metal screws and ...it didn't strip.

I bought this 100-piece driver bit set thinking, “With 100 pieces, it must have everything.” It does not have Allen (hex) bit heads. Which I discovered AFTER confidently walking up to an Allen bolt like, “I got this.” Reader… I did not got this. BUT — let’s talk about what is here: This set is stacked with Phillips, Torx, square, and all the bits you didn’t know you needed until a random screw from IKEA challenges your authority. The bits are tough, impact-rated, and laugh in the face of cheap screws. The case is organized so well it made me feel like a responsible adult. No loose bits rolling around the toolbox like rebellious teenagers. Everything has a slot. Everything behaves. Pros: ✔ Tons of useful bits ✔ Strong, durable, impact-ready ✔ Case makes you feel professional ✔ Great value for the price Cons: ❌ No Allen/hex bit heads (don’t come looking for them, they’re not here) ❌ Will expose the one tool you don’t have So if you already own Allen bits (or accept that this set is living its best non-Allen life), this is a fantastic driver bit kit. I give it 5 stars because it does exactly what it promises — and taught me a valuable life lesson: Never assume. Always check for hex. Would buy again. Would still forget Allen bits exist.

Two boxes are the best to open/close. I think the design is very durable. I only tried one t25. It is so nice. So easy to use.

Impeccable presentation in 2 separate boxes, the drill bits are really firm and durable, very good, and the screwdrivers in all configurations are a great addition to the set. Very happy with the purchase.
