Its a little big, but it works. The screen reads clean with minimal splash in the dot.

Very good quality. Packaged well. Delivered quickly. Unfortunately would not work on my Kimber. Ordered the ADE base for a different dovetail but still wouldn’t work on the Kimber. Very sad about that! Not the product’s fault!!! Added this set up to my Dad’s Sig Sauer instead and it works awesome!! Highly recommend this sight for a high quality budget red dot!!!

Took a lot of filing to get the base to fit in the rear sight, put 40 rounds through and it flew off and hit me square in the nose, When it worked it works good for the price, need to make some modifications, longer screws and lock tight , then give it another try.

Worked great until it didn't. Pros: Perfect mount for my Springfield 1911 Milspec, looks like it is a stock part of the weapon. Clean, crisp red dot. Held zero well Docter lug set up Single button for simple operation. Glass optic and metal body. Cons: Sight needs to be removed from the weapon to change battery. Mounting screws are soft and heads stripped out after changing the battery twice. Single button constantly changes brightness setting when powering on or off. Stopped functioning after 500 rounds. Not a bad red dot. Unfortunately it quit working. Ade Optics carries a 1 year warranty, but paying shipping both directions for repair/replacement is hardly worth it. The fact that it stood up to even 1 round on top of a 45 slide impressed me.

Will recomend this to others. Excellent quality.

So I wish I could like this sight. The windage dial does not change anything at all. I have a laser on my pistol that is sighted correctly so I can turn it on and compare the change in windage/elevation relative to the laser. The elevation seems to work okay (at least it moves) even though I need a shim to cant it enough to be accurate, but the windage does nothing. I have tried multiple times & multiple ways to contact ADE Optics about this issue but cannot find any way to do so. Their phone number listed doesn’t work, the website on Amazon “contact info” doesn’t work, typing in their website won’t load, and I can’t find an email address for them. I would just return it, but I had to modify the dovetail that came with it to fit my Girsan 1911’s rear dovetail & it took me so long to get it on there correctly that I’m not taking it off. At least I got a baseplate out of this…. I guess. I just bought a vortex venom instead, since it uses the same base footprint. Since I’m keeping this sight I would like for it to function because I have other firearms I could mount it to, but alas, if I can’t get ahold of their customer service it will probably end up in the garbage.

Incredible quality for such a low price, base took a little bit of fitting to my colt commander, but attaches firmly.
