Great universal cover that fits common size keypads
Worked great for the keypad I bought. Be prepared to drill the holes needed to match up with your keypad's mounting hole pattern. Nice tall top helps protect from the sun and also helps to show people where the keypad is.

Good protection and durable.
Bought this as backup in case the one I have in used protecting a doorbell wears out. Not sure the first one will ever wear out.

Works well but isn't perfect. Covers any small part and had to hole to fit my deadbolt.
Works well but isn't perfect. Covers any small part and had to hole to fit my deadbolt. Covers top but in direct Arizona sun, I fear it won't be enough coverage.

Got this item after my previous security keypad died in torrential rains.
I live out in the desert. It rarely rains. These past several month we had INCREDIBLE/AMAZING FITS of rain/downfall that blew us all away - and killed the batteries in my otherwise somewhat "rainproof" keypad. Alas, I had to replace the keypad. While I was at it, I looked for something that would better protect my keypad from the elements. This item was it. So far - it has been WONDERFUL! We have had subsequent torrential downpours/weather like we haven't seen in decades (but hey - "There is NO such thing as global warming!!" ..yeah, right). Anyhoo - so far, this device has managed to save me from having to replace another keybad due to bad weather. I will continue to sing it's praises as long as it keeps up the awesome work. I did try a few other options before landing on this one. So far - THIS thing protects outdoor security keypads the BEST - at least, as far as I can tell!

Works with MY Q Keypad.
This worked with my Liftmaster "MyQ" outside keypad but I had to make some modifications to it. It is also wider than my threshold for my side garage door and overhangs a bit. I used masking tape on the back of my keypad to mark the mounting holes on it. I transferred that masking tape to this cover and using the marks I made, marked the cover. I drilled a top and bottom hole in the cover back. Then I used Dremel to cut a slot on the top hole that mimicked the hole/slot of the top hole of the keypad. The keypad goes on a screw, over the screwhead and then slides down a slot. So now that both mounting holes matched, I used the marked masking tape again on the door threshold where I was mounting it. Marked the two hole locations amd pre-drilled holes. It mounted easily with the keypad and cover going on the top screw first and sliding down the slot into position. The bottom screw was then put in. It all worked. Rock solid. It overhangs width-wise on my threshold but still looks and functions as it should.

Pretty Good
Decent hood/cover, but not excellent. It’s formers well and has good finishing, but it’s made from fairly brittle plastic. It cracked quite easily while installing it. Be sure to pre-drill a pilot hole for your mounting hardware and be careful to not torque your bolts/screws too much. Although this is basic, common procedure, I found the hood cracked far easier than expected. Other than that, it’s a decent enclosure and fairly reasonably priced.
