Everything about these lights feels like the good quality of yester-year. The cord is limber and seems well made. The light fixture feels positive when turning On or Off. The aluminum reflector is better quality than one I have from 30 years ago.

Nice quality. Either that, or I lucked out! I carefully read a lot of user reviews and selected the clamp-on light that people seemed most satisfied with. I use mine in conjunction with painting. The clamp is incredibly strong, and I haven’t had any problem with the light fixture itself. I use it 2-3 times a week for several hours per painting session. Works really well to illuminate subjects. Artists have been using these things for decades.

I’m using them for grow lights purposes. Looks fine nothing great; if you are looking for adding to your aesthetics then it will definitely not add any value. I like it because I have more than 50 plants and in winter they need light; for that serves the purpose. 1 con for these lights are since they don’t have a expandable neck it’s difficult for you to place it. Works only when you hang it from the top or needs a pole. Will not get fixed on a window pane or table side unlike other clamps. The aluminum make is little cheap and doesn’t fix properly in the threads; but the bulb is fixed just fine. Overall once you set it up for the season it’s better you don’t adjust or fidget much with it; it will cause trouble then. I did it and faced consequence by breaking one of my plant leaf since the lamp fell on it. Overall ok.serves the purpose.

Bought a pair 6 years ago for my plants. Still use them to this day, just upgraded the bulb to a stronger one. The clamps are strong and stable, even on very small surfaces. Only negative is the cord length, it could be longer.

Exactly as described. Nicely made, good fit and finish. Works great as a temporary work light and as grow lights.

Good value

This is a sturdy fixture, 6 ft cord length, on/off switch. I almost returned it because the reflective shade didn't stay on the socket. The outside of the socket has threads, but the edge of the shade didn't stay threaded on, and there wasn't a threaded ring to place inside the shade to secure it to the socket area. The 'light bulb' came on (pun intended) when I realized once I screwed the LED grow light into the socket, the shade was secure. So, at least in this instance using a grow light, everything stays in its proper place. For my purposes I give it 5 stars.

These have worked perfectly for grow lights for my plants that have to live inside over the winter.

So far so good. Construction is a bit cheaply made but it does the job. I was a bit worried that our grow lights would be too heavy, and they wouldn’t stay in place, but surprisingly it worked. Hopefully they stand the test of time.
