Half Chrome Light Bulb,6W Dimmable,Gold Tipped Glass,G25 Warm E26

Can I just say... have you ever seen a light bulb that looks like this?? I had not! we have a small lamp in bedroom that sits on a dresser and you can see down into the lamp shade. It never looked BAD, but once I put thisligbht bulb in - it changed the look noticeably. It helps that the base of the lamp is gold & the shade is black. So the gold exposed top of the bulb looks pretty cool - very unique, stylish, & modern. I definitely like it!

I purchased these bulbs to solve a very specific problem, and they worked perfectly. I have an overhead light near my sofa that I rarely wanted to use because the bulb itself was visible from where I sat. Even though the room needed the light, the glare was constantly in my peripheral vision and became distracting and uncomfortable. These bulbs completely fixed the issue. The reflective chrome coating on the bulb blocks the direct glare while still allowing plenty of light to fill the room. Instead of shining straight into your eyes, the light is redirected and diffused around the space. The result is a room that feels bright and welcoming without that harsh, uncomfortable brightness that comes from looking directly at an exposed bulb. Installation was as simple as replacing the old bulb, and the difference was immediate. Now I can sit on the sofa with the overhead light on and never think about it. The room is well illuminated, but the annoying glare is gone. Sometimes the best products are the ones that solve a problem so effectively that you forget the problem ever existed. That's exactly what these bulbs did for me, and I would happily purchase them again.

This was exactly what I needed! I got this very cute open frame table lamp from Target to use at night to help me see my way back to the bed from the bathroom, but whatever bulb I tried was just a little much. They were just a little too bright to continue a restful momentum because of the lack of lamp shade. These bulbs did the trick! It brought the light back down to the floor where I needed it to be, and gives a nice warm glow. The gold is also such a beautiful accent to the wood/plants theme surrounding it. This was the only vendor I found selling a gold option and not just silver. I'm curious to see how long it holds up, and will come back to update my review if the quality is lacking.

I am tall, so my open ceiling fan lights got me right in the eye. So painful! I considered getting a whole new ceiling fan - but instead found these nifty bulbs! They no longer blind me but they still illuminate the room.

I like this bulb — it's ideal for the sorts of fixtures that utilize exposed bulbs that would otherwise be glaring right into your eyes. However, they are sporadically prone to defects. Like other users, I did have a problem with flickering in one of the bulbs in a 2-pack I ordered; the other bulb was fine. The flickering one quickly burned out. I reported the problem to Amazon support, and they set me up with a replacement without having to return the defective unit. Neat. Here is where I have to caution users about Amazon's service. A month later, I got an email telling me they were still waiting for me to send my return, with a link to a return label. I would have gladly returned what I received at the time of the problem, but was told I didn't have to, so I discarded the dead bulb. Now I'm being told if I don't send my return by such-and-such date, my card will be charged. Since I can't send the return now, I guess I'm screwed. Always keep an eye out for potential Amazon communication snafus.

Absolutely gorgeous LED bulbs. I'd never seen these gold coated bulbs before. Will look amazing in our new pendant lights. The glow is warm and inviting and these prevent glare. Love them!!!

Love the light but it's not bright enough for my room unfortunately. I'd recommend for mood lighting but not for main room lighting. My bedroom has no ceiling lights so I have to rely on lamps or plug in pendant lights. I didn't want something crazy bright and I thought these would work but they were too soft. Loved the uplighting though. Had to return though. Couldn't find anything to use it for.

I bough these and installed them in my neighbors drive way lights unknown to him. Why? Well, his lights didnt have the reflective crown and that light shined right through my windows (he leave them on all night). These decreased the laser like beam burning my retinas while still providing him the "hey im home, even though Im not" look & brightness. More than that, the gold tops look really nice. More than I would have expected. So much so, my other neighbors keep asking him where he got the bulbs... he has no idea they were changed which gives me a smile

Bastante buenos. Muy caros

The picture does not do justice to how they actually look in real life. My pictures makes it seem like they aren't bright but they are very bright and light up the entire room without causing you to go blind if you accidentally get a glance of the bulbs! My son would alway stare at the bulbs and that made me switch all the light bulbs in my house to half chrome bulbs and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Yes they are a bit expensive compared to regular bulbs but they last so much longer and wont damage your eyes! They are just as bright or maybe even brighter than regular incandescent bulbs and wont cause pain in your eyes and head! Led bulbs definitely last longer and because it is only 2700k, it is not as white as most led bulbs! It’s a perfect balance between yellow and white light and just absolutely perfect for light fixtures with bottom exposed bulbs.

These lightbulbs are perfect! I use it on an industrial lamp stand without a shade, and the half chrome design gives the bulb a beautiful, stylish look. It provides the perfect amount of warm yellow light, creating a cozy and inviting vibe in the room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add both function and style to their lighting!

The size the bulbs is perfect, I needed a larger bulb so these fit the bill. I had a light fixture that didn’t have a protective shield at the bottom to prevent directly looking at the bright lightbulb. These help so that when I look in that direction the light doesn’t hurt my eyes. When the light is off, it also completely elevated the fixture. Knocked a star because from the pictures, I thought the bulbs would be a different tone of gold. The gold in person is more of an orangey metal so it does look a little cheaper than I expected for the price. Bulbs like these are very hard to find though so, it still gets a good rating as it did improve the look of the light.

Didn’t expect how these bulbs would enhance a custom fixture recently installed, controlling brightness and adding a translucent nature to the marble discs, gold toned accents mesh with the gold chroming on the bulbs. 11/10, and absolutely no flickering from the bulb when dimming any percentage of light whatsoever!
