FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE (PS4)

Great game, wonderful graphics. When crisis Core game out on psp I always wanted a ff7 style like crisis Core. Here we are. So many memories, the story remains almost exactly the same but much, much more being told.

because I wanted an unopened version. I OWN a free digital copy. If you played the original ( I did ) don't complain how your game doesn't play the same. This is a re-imagining, it's NOT going to play the same. 🙄 That being said : Lots of fun, great graphics. My only complaint? Too much grunting and sighing.

It takes a little getting used to the fighting style and using magic and summons but all in all is a lot of fun

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a faithful reimagining of the first six or so hours of the original 1977 classic, up until the main characters leave Midgar. The combat is redesigned to be that of an action RPG with real time combat, reminiscent of the more modern FInal Fantasy entires, but with special attacks that freeze time to pay respects of the turn based original. The game retcons certain major plot details, such as major character deaths and in my opinion for the better, and acts as a suitable entry to the game if the original is too old for you.

Good stuff

Pretty good game. A couple thing that I REALLY hate. The game developers love to control the speed in which your character moves. At first you are running around and next second you are forced to walk very slow and crawl under unnecessary things…. Then you are running again. The game has these POINTLESS moments and puzzles that are literally just space fillers. It’s like “come on! Why the hell am I even doing this stupid pointless puzzle???” And you just want to get through it. Also, the developers like to control your camera to, for every little event that takes place. For example, I have to carry a small child a little ways down the street to someone and the game completely slows my movement to a crawl while tons of NPC’s are flying by me. I finally get there and of course a cutscene has to take place where the girls dad finds her. So that was a complete waste of 10 minutes for literally nothing. We were already going that way and the characters involved were not relevant in ANY way! Why??? Why did they have to put that in? Very shortly after that, the game brings you to a crawl again and controls the camera for a small stupid explosion that is seemingly meaningless. Also, why all the damn ladders? I dare you to count how many ladders you go up and down in the game! Why can’t cloud jump down instead of using a ladder many times. Why can’t he jump small gaps? Why all the STUPID side quests!? Why a 60 hour game when it takes around 7 hours in the original game in Probably the worst part of the entire original game? I feel the developers made some bad choices. Combat is cool. Upgrade and materia system is cool. Main story is cool (not the side stories). Graphics are good.

Very nice product

Auch wenn das Spiel nur einen Bruchteil der originalen Story erzählt, wird man dennoch sowohl als Fan als auch Neueinsteiger sehr gut unterhalten. Das Kampfsystem ist schnell aber auch taktisch, die Grafik ist top und die Story spannend. Da man mit diesem Spiel min. 30 Stunden (ohne lästiges grinden) zu tun hat, ist auch der Preis und die Veröffentlichung in Episoden in Ordnung. Klar, wäre mehr besser gewesen aber ich hatte trotzdem meinen Spaß und freue mich auf den nächsten Teil!
