The best salt out there!
I bought it because people said it's the best but I had and still have a bad experience with it. I did a water change on a 220g. My corals love it but my livestock is dying. I Saw the change in my beautiful fish within a day. The next day I checked my water and I noticed that it lowered my ph. I raised it immediately but my established big fish were just getting worse and worse. It all happened after I did the water change. Don't get me wrong the salt is excellent for the corals but my fish couldn't handle the change. It has been almost a week since I did the change and I have lost 4 fish (6in achilles, 4in flame angel, blue hippo and naso) and still counting because I know more are going to die. I am medicating them but this is why I gave a 2 star review. I am extremely upset, disappointed and sad Because I have never seen a fish suffered the way they suffered

Product is great. Delivery horrible.
There isn't an issue with the salt. But when you have a need for a saltwater tank in mu case, and it takes 3x the stated time to deliver. That makes me have to get salt from a local distributor who charges way more just so my aquarium doesn't suffer. This is poor service. I highly recommend this salt product, but will choose to get it somewhere else in the future.

Great salt that corals seem to love.
I'm a big fan of this salt. I've used several different types and the tank really responded to this one. Even in the midst of some nutrient issues (cyano...so much cyano) switching to this salt resulted in SPS perking up, seemed to increase growth and coloration. Could just be a coincidence because there are a lot of variables in a tank, but everything in my mixed-reef tank responded well to this salt. Fair warning, sometimes the bucket breaks in shipping. It's happened to me a couple of times. You don't lose any salt because it's sealed in a plastic bag (or if I've lost some, it's a negligible amount) but I would encourage you to keep an empty salt bucket around that's all in one piece for storage, in case yours come in pieces.

Got to me in 1 business day (within state of Florida). Bottom of bucket had cracked, but who cares? I didn't buy a bucket, I bought the salt - and the salt is excellent. It's stored in a very thick bag inside of the bucket. Before this, I used Reef Crystals, which is comparable. I feel that the trace elements in this provide a little bit of extra punch. I've had some better growth on my SPS since switching over to this salt. The only thing I don't like is the dosing instructions. It provides mixing instructions based on WEIGHT instead of volume (ie; add 1 pound vs. add 1 cup). So, here's the dosing instructions.... For 5 gallons of water, for 1.25 specific gravity add in 4.75 cups of salt. That should do you good. As always, measure after mixing with your refractometer.

Great for mixed reef tank
Great product for mixed reef. Easy twist off kid and salt is bagged so it doesn't turn to stone. Instructions are a but hard to understand, at first like breaking it down to desired salinity.

Very reliable replacement salt and setup for saltwater tanks
I have not used other salt products as I started with this one. I did research and found the reviews and price on this product to be most desirable. I used it to set up two saltwater tanks. It mixes well and has all the components to sustain a saltwater tank with corals and fish. My corals are growing and fish are all well. SPS and LPS. I add minimal else to the water due to this salt containing most of what is needed. Doing 25% water changes required I have a good product to provide the correct balance of what my corals needed. I am happy with this product and have no complaints

Product amazing! (Seller (not Amazon) not so amazing...)
This product is amazing! My coral look fantastic and my scoly especially loves it! As for the seller: shipping box arrived w/o damage. I realize the bucket may arrive cracked and I'm ok with that. However, when the shipping box was opened - salt was sliding around outside the bucket. A large piece of the bottom of the bucket was missing and covered with clear tape so that salt would not fall out from the bottom of the bucket. - For those of you in this hobby, you already know how expensive it is and to risk losing your fish & coral from potentially contaminated salt just is not good (to say the least). Normally I don't write negative reviews. I just had to warn other buyers of this seller (Salty Supply Aquarium). Unfortunately, I will NOT trust buying from this company again.

First off, I have been using Red Sea's Coral Pro Salt for almost a year now and I've never had any issues with it before. The reason that I gave this one star is because the salt I received was contaminated. After mixing the salt with RO water for over an hour I would have white debris sitting on the bottom of my bucket as well as white debris and slimey black gunk floating on top of the water. AMAZON IS NOT A CERTIFIED RETAILER FOR RED SEA! I have never had any issues like this when buying Coral Pro Salt from an actual certified retailer but amazon gets this product from a third party instead of Red Sea directly and IT IS NOT THE SAME SALT. Bottom Line: Coral Pro Salt by Red Sea is a great product but ONLY if purchased from a certified retailer.

Acuario oceanico
Tengo muchos años con peces marinos y una de las razones de que estén sanos es el cambio de agua cada 20 o 25 días para eso hay que usar la mejor agua posible con la sal más buena que hay en el mercado
