Giant Duckweed - Spirodela Polyrhiza - 20+ Live Floating Plants for Freshwater Aquarium/Pond. This plant is about 5-10 time bigger than the common duckweed. HOME GROWN - NO CHEMICAL USED. Fresh water, easy to grow and maintenance. Buyer is responsible for knowing local laws regarding acceptable plants for import in your state. If plants are damaged or dead on arrival, you must contact us same day as shipment is received and provide clear photos of damaged plants. Review: Plants may all get eaten if the pond contains Koi - Iโd love to be able to say, how pleased I am with my new pond plants. They arrived fresh and alive, a bit smaller than I had expected. However, size wasnโt my problem: after putting them in the water one day, the next day, they were all gone! I have four Koi and I can only think, they ate every single plant!! lol I know, Koi will nibble on pretty much anything, I just wasnโt prepared for all the plants to be gobbled. Will have to re-think how to protect the next batch of plants. Keep this in mind, for your own pond. :) Update: I was thinking about ordering some more of these, but happened to read a few reviews and it seems many individuals have gone through the same ordeal as me. One person did not recommend these for an outdoor pond and I have to agree with them. Iโm not going to re-order after all. Review: Bad for pond - This item was terrible. The plants were a teeny teeny tiny and they did not stay afloat in my pond. I think they got sucked up by the filter and it was a waste of my money.

Beautiful and Easy
Wasn't sure what to expect when it arrived. I am at a month now of having it and they have doubled in quantity. Healthy and happy in my little pond. Definitely would recommend and just so easy to deal with.

Giant (?) duckweed ? Small plants, small portion
Arrived healthy, but the picture is 2 orders $20 worth, barely covers the top of a betta cup. Does not look like โgiantโ duckweed I was hoping to use in a gold fish pond .

Great growth
These plants flourished amazingly in my 20 gallon freshwater fish tank. While the plants did show up with many broken roots, the roots grew back very quick. Within a very very short time period these plants had multiplied to cover the entire top of my tank. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 2 stars: while they did populate very quickly, the little ones now are slightly brown. This might be to my own error, or it might be because there are so many in the tank. With that being said, they are still populating and doing well.

Arrived all dead as far as I can tell
For starters I always make sure to grab the duckweed as soon as it arrives; I don't let it sit out. I've bought from this seller before, and in the past their duckweed has come with some gelatinous substance which I believe keeps most of the duckweed healthy during transit. No complaints, and I have always been happy with the duckweed I received. This time, the duckweed was sent in a small bag with some water in it. Not a big deal in the change, but normally I expect a ~50-70% mortality rate of the duckweed I receive and I think that's pretty reasonable. However, the entire batch I received was all browning and mostly dead (see image). I got it under my grow lamp hoping for at least one or two survivors. It's now 12 days after receiving the duckweed, and nearly all of them are dead, sunk, or on their way there. My goldfish love this stuff and I sadly have none to give them. I hope this was just a one off error on the seller's part, as I have been happy with the product before.
