how long does it last

Not very long. I had mine for a few weeks while it seemed to work well. Then the battery would not hold a charge and was so weak that it would not lift off of the ground. Not a helicopter any more...

can you fly it outside?

Not really. It uses IR to communicate, not radio, and direct sunlight causes too much interference. If you have a fairly open room, I’d just fly it around there.

Is it easy to fly? I need a basic heli that my grandson can land on his eagle pro landing pad

This helicopter is extremely easy to fly after just a little practice. For fun I like to land on ceiling fan blades (which have a tendency to move away from the helicopter from the downforce).
